Resta muy bien la propiedad lo único que le falta unpoco de arreglos le primero los baños están unpoco malos dónde se pone el papel de baño estaba dañado creo que le ase falta unpoco de remoledacion en mío pinion al cuarto que me tocó pero porlo demás estuvo bien creo que sí volvería air y tiene muy buenas vista hacia la playa ..

Checked in at 335pm (check-in online was 4pm)and was told i had been allowed an early check-in but my room was not ready. My room was not available till 5pm. No reasons, apologies or comps were given for the delay. There were many people checking in and given rooms at that time but there were also many whos rooms were not ready Staff was not personable or very friendly across all areas of the property. No directions were given for parking or how to find our room until asked Room wasnt very clean(visable garbage behind the dresser) towel on tub was wet upon check in, carpet was fraying, paint on bottom of bathroom door was chipped off about 2 inches, coffee grounds on the balcony and sunflower seeds in one of the beds and we didnt have sunflower seeds

The room was extremely outdated. The carpet needs to be replaced. Carpet looked filthy, was rolled up in places & had something black stuck on it. The kitchenette floor was very sticky. Others we were worth had the same experience in their rooms. Conversely, the night front desk staff & security were extremely nice & helpful. Oceanfront was a nice feature. I wouldn't select that location again. I would not

We love the breakfast buffet at Ocean Reef Resort! It is one of the reasons we stay here when we visit Myrtle Beach. Also, we always book an oceanfront room; the views are beautiful.

Walls are paper thin. No one monitoring the noise levels of children and drunks. Other than that not a bad place for the money. Room was clean. Bathroom door would not close and looked to be ripped at bottom.

The hotel room was compfortable and clean when we arrived, had a good size fridge, micro wave and safe. However, we were there for 5 nights and even after we requested the garbage to be taken out and fresh towels on the second day it never was done. At check out I reviewed our bill and noticed a house keeping charge to our room DAILY, I was very disapointed that they charge for something they don't actually do till you leave.

Enjoyed being there. The room was nice and clean. We had a problem with the door lock which they were quick to repair. We had to end up paying for breakfast because we had reserved the room though a third party. This was not communicated to us though the the third party.

The pullout bed mattress was filthy! Red stained and fake finger nails in the bed... I was told since I booked thru a "3rd party" there wasn't anything they could do for me about switching my rooms, etc... I'm livid!! Please reach back out to me for pictures I'd like to share with y'all

So. Pictures are deceiving. I have stayed at similar properties in the same area. I was not expecting a 5 star hotel because that’s not what I booked. However… I would NOT stay here again. The hotel itself is a maze, but once you figure out that the signs don’t actually point to the elevators and you find them yourself it’s not bad. The hotel itself is just falling apart. Theres water damaged ceilings with holes where they let the water out, one of the outlets in my room was falling out of the wall. I think the worst part is, the room wasn’t super clean when I got there, the carpet should’ve been vacuumed and the mirror in the bathroom was also dirty. I think the worst thing that I saw, which I didn’t see until my last night there, was the blood on the flat sheet on the bed. I was immediately grossed out, and was disgusted that I had slept there without noticing it. The overall cost for the stay wasn’t worth it. There are much better options available in the same area for similar pricing.

Overall great experience. I read plenty of reviews and maybe people would rather dwell on the negatives than the positives, but let’s be honest, when you’re at MB how much time are you spending in your room? Ocean front view was great, indoor pool area was great my kids enjoyed thoroughly! Only complaint I have about my room was the sliding glass door wasn’t very functional, esp for the kids. Overall great stay, easy parking this time of year, would visit again!!

The new owners suck Housekeeping did a poor job cleaning sticky film on bed table dirt on floor hairs and shower cigarette butts on balcony bathroom fixtures were not well maintained towel rack broken toilet paper holder barely holds toilet paper when we reported this to the manager he came up to inspect and argued with us blaming it on the desk girl she was the only one who was really helpful she gave us a free breakfast we have been to Ocean Reef many many times and this is the worst we ever seen very very dissatisfied

My 7 year old stepped one foot into the pool after being excited all day long to step on something so sharp his foot got cut open, immediately ending our time at the pool. Now we get to plan for a doctor trip to make sure he won’t end up with an infection: when I told the front desk - I was given 2 standard bandaids for an actively bleeding wound and that was it. Absolutely will not be back solely because of how this has been handled this far. What was supposed to be a good time ended in misery for our child with nothing said about it, nothing done - no one checked the pool area after I mentioned that there is a sharp object that sliced open a foot. Been here before but won’t be back with how this was handled.
