Perfect condo for our family of 3. Loved the views, beach and was very comfortable. Kitchen was adequate for basic meals and full sized appliances were very nice. Checkin process easy. Plenty of pools, and restaurant on 2nd floor had very good options for lunch.

The unit has mold in the sitting area by the murphy bed. Parking is horrible. Not as clean as you would think. Unit had old stale cigarette smoke smell from past visitors. The combination lock died. Noisy. Could hear the neighbors kids and the mother through the walls. Kids slamming doors. Skunk weed and cigarette smoke could be smelled while trying to relax on the balcony. I can be positive on that the contract service responded quickly on our key pad issues quickly. They also helped locate the facility. Did not know that there are 2 roads that have pretty much the same name, one in N. Myrtle Beach and one in South Myrtle Beach area. We did enjoy the beach and lazy river. So it wasn't a complete fail.

Scammed!!!

We were scammed. We will never go with VRBO again. There was no room when we got there and we had to get another place to stay. We will be further be investigating this scam. We are very disappointed and we lost a lot of money. We will be seeking restitution

Overall it wasnt a bad stay, the view was great, location was awesome. But the condition of the building and condo could use some renovation. The building wasnt secure, all the entry doors were always unlocked, keycard from the room wasnt needed. Along with the mold in the bathroom. These are the reasons for my 2 stars. If youre looking for a budget stay these might be the place. But its far from a 4-5 star stay.

Incredible sunrise

Very easy to check in. Everything you need for a simple stay. Incredible views , restaurant and tiki bar on sight. Karoake nights ! Lots of pools and fun.

Great view, clean room

Spacious room with comfort and plenty of amenities. Excellent communication with host. Safe neighborhood. Friendly staff. Close to nearby entertainment. Highly recommend.

The room was filthy. The walls of the bathroom had mold ,there were cockroaches in the kitchen bathroom area. When we got there there was moisture on the floor and walls due to humidity. The walls were thin

Compass Cove

We booked our first family vacation at Compass Cove & honestly had such a beautiful time. The resort is clean and the staff is friendly! The room we booked was perfect for our little family & the view was beautiful! We plan to book with them again next year and make our stay at Compass Cove a family tradition!

Great Location

It was a perfect place for our little girls’ trip for the 4th! The only thing I could recommend is one or two more blankets if anyone sleeps on the pullout couch. Other than that, we had a blast!

If linens and shutting doors are important… keep clicking

We were able to check in early. The listing is not giving all information. They sent an email in January detailing their linen policy, but it was 5 months out so I skimmed thru. If I had read the information fully, I would have cancelled. For our 7 night stay we were issued 1 towel, 1 washrag, and 1 hand towel per guest for a week. There isn’t a laundry exchange so there’s that. If you get sand in your sheets, don’t plan on sheets to replace it. I was told they were not a hotel service when asked about this. The actual bedroom has NO ocean view. The living room has the ocean view. The tvs need to be upgraded to streaming tvs with better remotes. We had an issue with air, it was fixed. We had no key cards to enter building from pool, we were given 2 after being locked out first day. We had 2 adults and a teen, we needed 3 and they wouldn’t provide. We also let them know the master bedroom door would not shut and you had to slam the other door to get it to close. The master of all doors couldn’t be shut, well there goes all parental fun 😬. I didn’t appreciate the response that I received about the sheet situation. Like I said, if linens are important then keep clicking. You can stay 2 nights or 7 and receive one towel, that’s ridiculous. If you want a master with a view, keep clicking. As far as the “recently remodeled” did they forget about the doors??

Very dirty

There were roaches in the cabinets. The dishes that were supposedly clean looked and smelled dirty. The furniture was stained, old and smelled terrible. I was provided an email for housekeeping services and never received a response back. On the second day of our stay, the light blew out in the bathroom. I called the number I was provided for maintenance and had to leave a message. Also never received a response back. Had to end up going and buying cleaning products and cleaning the place ourselves.
