The unit and area very nice and comfortable. Wish they would not charge extra to make your bed or for beach towels, and they ask you to bring your own toilet paper???

The property amenities were great! There is a bathroom on the 2nd floor you use the same code to get in the resort. So when you are swimming you don't have to go all the way to your room like other reviews said. Our water was shutoff our 2nd day there from 10am-1pm. I wouldn't have minded except for the fact that we were not notified. I had to call Ocean breeze vacation to find this out after the water was already off. There were no bugs in our room and it was generally clean. Underneath some of the furniture was just not vacuumed. There was a vacuum in the room and beach chairs and a canopy. The rooms were very spacious. There was a washer and dryer and also a dishwasher.

Overall Good Stay

The property was nice and clean and the view was amazing! It wouldve been helpful to get the check in information before the day of check in and not right at check in. That was a bit frustrating being so tired and not knowing where to go or what to do. Parking couldve been better explained.I didnt like that we had to make our beds upon arrival. When you’re exhausted you just want to be able to lay down, after the frustrating check in process which was more so trying to figure out the building and parking all we wanted to do was lay down. May not be a big deal to some but under our conditions it wasnt the best experience for the first day. Overall the stay was peaceful.The tenant was a very quick communicator and polite.

A few accoutrements would go a long way...

I've stayed at Ocean's One four other times and have stayed in VRBOs many times in the past 10 years. This is the ONLY one that doesn't provide toilet paper, soaps, or made beds. Some that I stay at provide coffee, a welcome basket, and, certainly, toilet paper. For less than ten bucks, these owners could provide all of that and simply increase the rental price by a buck or two a night, and the rating would be superior. What is really disappointing, however, is the one-day notification of no paper products (if I brought it from home (Washington state) I would have had to have a larger suit case, which requires checking, which costs 45 each way). Come on, owners! The biggest issue was NO REPLY to my phone call that we didnt' get the email for the code to the front door. We were able to get in, but no one really knew that because no one returned my phone call. Finally, the mattress on one of the beds in the two-bed room was quite poor. Sit on the side of the bed and it feels like a bar is digging into your thigh. And squeak, squeak, squeak every time you move. So, all of this to say, "These are REALLY easy fixes, so fix them." The pluses: Great location--great view, good space.

Short stay

A bit of a problem checking in. We where given the wrong code to enter the building. We had no parking pass and we where short on blankets and sheets. The beds had bed spreads on them but no sheets. When we got sheets and blankets we had to make up our beds. Outside of this it was a pleasant stay. the staff at Ocean One helped us with the budling code and a parking pass . They where great.

Great, relaxing stay

The weather was amazing the week we were there. The only issue we had was the code we were given to the building was wrong, but we went to the business office and were able to get the correct one. The pools were heated and we loved the proximity to the beach. We would come back for sure!

Ripken Experience 2024

Everything was good with the exception of not having hot water for about 24 hours. Also, we could never get in with our 4-digit code downstairs to come inside the facility. We had to use friends to get inside the building. All the rest was a great stay. Great view. Clean.
