Great cozy beach house

Arrived no problems getting in. Property was clean and everything as described. We enjoyed the location. Easy walk to the beach. Easy walk to Boulineau's Foods for groceries and convenient to many of our favorite restaurants. Convenient to some of the golf courses my husband likes.The house was comfortable and perfect for us. The outdoor dry bar, grilling area & tables were grreat. Made good use of them.Awesome, that we could bring our furbabies with us to enjoy the beach.Looking forward to our next trip there.PS: My husband thinks Bean is cool!!! ea

A Perfect beach house feel

We were looking for a place to take my elderly parents for a long needed beach trip and this house was a perfect fit and as an added bonus we were able to bring along our two schnauzers for their first trip to the beach it was all we hoped it would be

A home away from home

This place had everything we needed to be comfortable and spend quality time with our family. We had ease of access being on the ground floor (which also stayed cooler in the heat), no issues with parking, and we were within walking distance of the beach. Given all the places we have stayed over the years, I was impressed by their attention to detail and how well equipped it was — sand toys for the kiddo included. You have all the appliances and tools you need to prepare meals, do laundry if needed, etc. Thank you, Gia and family, for being such hospitable hosts!

Exceeded Expectations

Our big goofy dog, less goofy 10-year-old daughter, and her not-goofy-at-all grandmother all loved the property. My wife and I took advantage of the little bar outside and the screened porch off the master bedroom and grandma read on the porch off her room. The beach was very close, as were the nearby restaurants and grocery, which we walked to for lunch. We hope to return for another stay soon!

Wonderful host and stay!

This was a wonderful property for our beach vacation. Everything was clean and as shown in the pictures. The house is steps away from the beach. The host was wonderful and answered all of my questions quickly. This was a perfect location and I will definitely be back to stay again!

Great little place with 2 min walk to beach

The location can't be beat. The house was clean and everything you'd want in a rental! We cooked every night we were there and the kitchen was small but met all our needs. Oh and Bean was friendly and very helpful!

Cute property; like the easy access to the beach. Tenants next door ( to the right when facing the road) were very loud partying until after 11 pm for two nights. Found one cockroach in the kitchen A few cups and bowls are chipped and need to be replaced. Noises from the steps of upstair tenants could be disturbing at times. Suggest to throw away rusty beach chairs and bikes to make the property look less rundown.

Perfect Beach House

The house is great, the owners are great, and the location is even greater! The house is cozy, clean, and has everything you need to feel at home. It’s literally across the street from the beach. It’s perfect!

The perfect location!

We loved our time at Meader on Down! The description is correct that you are a very short walking distance to the beach, plenty manageable for your gear and cooler for a full day in the sand. We also enjoyed being able to walk a few minutes to the bar at the pier for an afternoon margarita or ride our bikes less than 5 minutes to Boulineau's for a few groceries, or even better, for Happy Hour at Snooky's. We also loved returning to the house after a day on the beach and sitting at the tiki bar downstairs while we cooked on the Weber grill. Inside stayed cool and cozy and provided plenty of room for our family of four and our small dog. The property manager is extremely friendly but you'd barely know he's there. We enjoyed getting to know our neighbors and absolutely hated to leave! Thank you for a wonderful home base for our perfect beach week!

Amazing stay!

We loved this property! The decor is outstanding and we loved the screened in porch. Our furry friends loved it as well. The outdoor area was wonderful and if you forget anything, they have it! Everything we needed was there and any issues we had were resolved immediately. We enjoyed the host's dad who lives behind the property. He was very gracious and helpful. We truly can't say enough about how gracious Gia and her family are. Any time we return to North Myrtle, this will be the ONLY place we book! Nice new appliances, soft linens and pillows, all kitchen bakeware, cookware, etc, great water pressure, nice separate laundry area, comfortable beds and it was super clean! This is a great rental for people with dogs, families or a week with friends!

Awesome Rental! BEST dog-friendly rental ever!

The cottage is adorable. Very clean and equipped with All The little touches needed for a vacation. Outside “hangout” area is perfect. 4 houses from beach…love it! Close to restaurants and shops. So perfect for our dogs.

Highly recommend

If your looking for a great place to stay that allows dogs look no further. Seriously, I’m not just saying that - stop looking this is your place! The place is nestled on a dead end road so you don’t have car traffic. The dead end road provides a nice little nook. Has easy access -literally steps away from beach. Bean stays in the rear of the property and is basically a on-site property manager & tour guide. If you would happen to have any issues you can talk directly to him (which we didn’t!). He does a nice job of staying out of your way while being extremely friendly & helpful. Everything has been remodeled and they installed a new mini-split air conditioner/heater unit which makes it very comfortable. The beds were comfortable. Nice screened in porch and sitting area outside to enjoy your coffee or Margarita. We are still talking about how much we loved the place. We’ll definitely be returning to the exact spot again. Very nice get away for our family & 2 labs

Convenient and cozy location for beach vacation.

We were able to take our dog with is for a beach trip. Just 200 steps from the beach made it convenient for access to the beach anytime. The house is tucked just off Ocean Blvd near the Cherry Grove pier and is quiet, cozy and private. We were within walking distance to great food and Boulineaus Food Plus has a great bakery and is good for staples or anything you forgot to pack.
