We had a wonderful stay at Ocean’s One. Our host sent us a detailed letter about what to expect, which was so helpful. Any time you can spend time at the beach with loved ones and enjoy warm weather is a plus. I wish we had a 13x 9 pan for baking and a mixing bowl, but other than that the kitchen was well stocked with supplies. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The front door doesn’t open all the way. Lights in BR#2 do not come on. Caulking around tub looks awful. The remote in MBR is dead. Caulking also looks bad around toilets, this does not look normal.

Wasn't as clean as expected. Asked for early check-in, never really heard back. Asked about bedding/sheets. Wanted nice, soft sheets. Never confirmed and were very poor quality. Never heard from host as to whether we got there/in without issue. Never heard anything from her AT ALL. Not sure if that's the norm, but wouldn't be my choice. Will likely go another route other than VRBO in the future.

Great vacation spot with beautiful views

My husband and I brought our 6 children here for a vacation. While it was a little crowded when we were all in the living area, it didn’t bother us much because we would mostly go out to eat. The pool area was perfect for all of our kids ages 1-14. The view was absolutely beautiful and we had a lot of fun. The sleeping arrangements were perfect. We left our second pack n play at home but luckily there was one in our closet which was awesome. We were pretty impressed with the host and her timeliness to address any issues we had. As hosts ourselves, we realize that you aren’t always going to be there to check the property before guest arrive so if there are any issues make sure to contact Jen. Thank you so much for hosting us! If you’re looking for a perfect vacation spot, this is the one!

Review stay Myrtle Beach

The view was amazing and relaxing. The balcony was smaller than expected . Our feet were dirty when we walked barefoot on the laminate floors.The living room sofa table and coffee table had sticky residue from contact paper. There were used candy wrapper/paper items under the sofa. The caulking around the toilets/tubs was unprofessionally done. We had to wait over 30 minutes for a cart to transport our luggage. We enjoyed our stay but thought some things could be updated.

Beach Stay

Overall my family and I had an amazing experience. Jennifer was quick to help me out when the lock was stressing me out. We loved our view of the ocean and the beautiful sunrise we experienced over the water every morning. Definitely plan on having more stays in the future.

Lovely

The space was exactly as described. There were no issues with check in. Quiet. Building was quiet and common area was clean. Communication with the owner prior to arrival was pleasant and timely. We needed a place to stay while our kids were at another spot with their baseball team. It was the perfect spot for us. Amazing views and the sunrise is unforgettable. Would happily stay here again.

Listing doesn’t match and got rained on by upstairs unit.

Well to get started, the unit doesn’t match at all the description or the pictures shown on the listing. These were later found to be the generic pictures used by the resort for promotion, but no at all represents the unit we stayed in. The listing’s original title said “ 2024 NewlyRenovated : Luxury5beds/2 DirectOceanfront BRs/Wifi/ Pools” and since communicating with the owner got changed to 2024 NewlyRenovated: Luxury5beds/Direct Oceanfront/2BRs/Wifi/Pools. Well got to tell you that saying you have two Ocean front bedrooms plus seeing the third separate bedroom in their pictures completely changes how one would make use of the space when going with a family, and mother in law. I tried to voice this to the owner, and the fact that no the space shows previous water damages, layers over layers of caulking and patch paint, that all of this doesn’t fit the newly renovated and luxury one would expect. All I would get as a reply was, “Thanks for staying with us…” when trying to push even further, all she was worried about was getting a bad review, yet a settlement on a partial refund has yet to been reached. Be careful when booking with this group or address as I can only assume others here may be using the generic photos for their places as well. Wouldn’t go back here, nor recommend.

Quiet during off season

We were on the 18th floor overlooking the ocean. The suite was large and comfortable. It was off season, so everything around the building was quiet. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

Great location with beautiful view of beach

The unit has a wonderful view of the beach and is an excellent location. There is ample parking and plenty to do and see nearby.I think the some additional amenities like a Keurig and/or access to streaming services on the TV would make sense for the price of the rental. Also, the unit was not completely clean or ready for us - there was some unswept dirt/dust under the bathroom sinks, some of the pillows did not have pillow cases, and there were dishes in the dishwasher. Also, based on its appearance, I was surprised that the property was recently renovated.
