Perfect Location @ Ocean Lakes for Family

It has been years since our family had stayed within the Ocean Lakes Campground. We returned with out family of 5 (kids, 17, 14, 6), and our relatives (kids 15, 9). What a change in venue since the last time we had stayed. Everything is updated within the park, increased security, and cleanliness of the park was outstanding.The stay at the Hanson Beach house was perfect for our family. Great location by the lake, hardly any car or golf cart traffic to deal with, and ease access to the lake and beach. The communication with the owners was outstanding, and answered all questions prior and post arrival. This is one location we would return to on our next visit to Ocean Lakes! We would highly recommend this location, and owners.

Everything was Great!

The house was clean and spacious. We loved the bright, beachy decor. Coffee on the front porch was so nice! We walked to the beach & the house has everything you need for a day of fun! The owner was so helpful and personable! Everything about the house & our stay was great!

Beautiful and comfortable home

We enjoyed our stay here for our family vacation. The property is comfortable and clean. The owner was very responsive for the few times we had questions. The one thing I will note is it is farther than a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. At least it was for us with kids. IMO a golf cart is a must if you envision a number of beach trips.

Amazing

Love this location. It is away from all the fussiness that goes with staying at the front of the park. Beautiful view by the pond. House was well stocked and has everything we needed. Jim was very responsive and helpful. We husband and I had both sets of parents were us and for teenagers. Everyone has a great week. We will definitely stay again.

Wonderful weekend getaway!

My husband and three daughters had a wonderful stay over the weekend at Jim’s house. It was the perfect size and the lake view was amazing. Everything was clean, comfortable and we will definitely stay again!

Spring Break 2024

We had a great stay. The weather was all over the place but we had plenty of room to hang on the porches when it was raining but also plenty of shade when it was warm out. Our location was conveniently located near the entrance but with a straight shot to the beach. This is the 2nd time we have rented in this resort and THIS owner provides everything that others don’t, making this a much less stressful trip. I would highly recommend and will rent again myself in the future if travel takes us back

Weekend Getaway

A short getway with our kids to surprise them and was well worth it! The house was just what we were looking for. Jim and his wife thought of everything you could possibly need while staying at the beach. Boards games, bikes, beach chairs, (teens internet) linens and so much more! Plus the porch view of the lake makes it even better as you relax in the evening.

Great Stay! We had 10 people and the house was perfect size for accommodating us. Owners very hands on and responsive when we needed them. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Myrtle Beach area.

Great house in perfect location

Despite dealing with Hurricane Ian we had a great time. The house was wonderful, safe, and in the best campground on the coast. We will definitely be back if not buy our own house! The host is extremely nice and accommodating!

One of the best properties in Ocean Lakes!

Great property with amazing view and access to everything you need within Ocean Lakes. More than enough space for a group of 10 with small kids. Property Manager is super helpful, makes great recommendations and fast to respond. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Summer Vaca 2022

The house was beautiful, spacious, and clean. Loved sitting on the balcony overlooking the lake. Kids enjoyed fishing every morning. The owners were very responsive to any questions I had. The area was very family friendly. Our whole family enjoyed ourselves.
