Terrific Property in Georgetown SC !

This a very spacious and comfortable property within easy walking distance of the shops and restaurants in Georgetown. The property was very clean and ideal for a multiple night stay. We greatly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Wheelers at the Lawft

Our stay was fantastic. The Lawft is luxuriously homey with every possible amenity we could have wanted. The location was exceptionally convenient to all downtown activities. We did not have to drive anywhere. Totsie was a gracious and kind host and provided for our every need. We will stay here again for sure.

Excellent location and communication

5 stars for this one! Accommodations were clean and tidy and spacious rooms for relaxing. Can't beat the location - walking distance to town and the marina. Great host!

Georgetown wedding

The place was unique and easy walking distance to downtown Georgetown. The host made us feel at home. We were there for a wedding and all the venues were in walking distance. I would highly recommend.

Quaint and cute in downtown Georgetown

Wonderful and cute 2 bedroom apartment in downtown Georgetown. Lots of space, comfortable beds and a great location near restaurants and coffee shops. Property manager was extremely sweet and helpful. Will definitely stay again. Only con was the poor wi-fi and the extremely small shower.

Wedding Weekend

This lovely apartment is well-appointed with grand space. It was within walking distance to our chosen wedding venues making it easy and convenient. Totsie is a knowledgeable and hospitable host who made our stay most enjoyable. Many thanks to our host for a wonderful weekend.

Just what we wanted

Spacious and very classically decorated. The location is perfect for walking through historic Georgetown and only 15 minutes from Pawleys Beach. Host is gracious and easily accessible if you need anything. Plenty of extras supplied. We loved the property and will go back again!

Love Georgetown

Love the “Lawft”. It is within walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. Georgetown is a very historical town and the apartment is within walking distance to it all! Not our first stay and definitely will not be our last.

Spectacular

Was hosting a collegue in town for business. The “Lawft” was the perfect option. It’s in an ideal location in the heart of downtown Georgetown, it’s very spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. Will be back!

Charming location

We were traveling right after Tropical Storm Debby. Our originally rented VRBO had water damage from the storm and had to cancel at the last minute. Totsie was quick to answer questions as we were working to ensure this unit was still in good shape and helped us get it reserved and ready in time for our trip. The location is great and the unit is clean and charming. Walking distance to Front Street is a plus.

Delightful Getaway

This loft should be considered a Penthouse from its fine appointments and decor, comfortable and quality furniture and bedding to it's well supplied kitchen and butlers pantry...we were lacking for nothing! Totsie our host was there to assist with kindness and a quick response time. Lastly, only 1/2 block to Front Street, the down town, waterfront and historic district is truly an American experience not to be missed. This gem is on our to return to list.

Weekend getaway

My husband and I were in town for a long weekend to explore Georgetown and Pawleys Island. The Lawft was a perfect “home base” to explore the area. It’s located within a block of the historic Georgetown district with easy access to a variety of restaurants, stores, and the boardwalk and easy access to Hwy 17 (which follows the coastline). We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived, where Totsie met and greeted us with a box of cookies and a tour around the apartment. It is beautifully decorated with obvious personal touches, is well stocked with all the essentials, and was immaculate. We enjoyed our visit, the apartment, and Totsie’s hospitality.

Great Place and Location

My wife and I stayed for a few nights and loved the Lawft. I agree with all of the other great reviews, and in particular the ones mentioning the communication with Totsie, who is a great host. Rather than repeat other reviewers, I will provide some recommendations for things to do while you’re at the Lawft. The historic district is charming and the people are incredibly nice. Everyone says hello. Rollin Local was good and reasonably priced. Between the Antlers has a great location on the water and live music when we were there. The food was good but not great, but I would go back for sure for the atmosphere. Coffee Break Cafe has really good omelets and although the coffee was fine, I thought Indigo Bakery had better coffee. Although not a liquor store, Indigo Mercantile has wine and a small craft beer selection. We didn’t eat at the Big Tuna but that was our hang out spot. Within minutes of sitting at the bar we made friends with Xavier (“X”) the bartender, and Bucky, the owner. Great guy with some great stories. Pawleys Island is a short drive, like 15 - 20 minutes. Bistro 217 and Local were both very good. I’m not really into botanical gardens, but have to admit that Brookgreen Gardens was pretty incredible. We will definitely stay at the Lawft again if we’re back in the area.
