Relaxing

I loved the 2 on suite bathrooms, that was great. The pictures were taken when it was new but still pretty accurate, some wear but that’s to be expected. Loved only having to go up 1 floor to our condo. The check in is a little chaotic, we had a guy cussing at us to get out of his way, we were unloading. Over all it was a nice stay, location was great!!

This unit looks nothing like the pictures. The only updates were the counters and some appliances. There were no children’s activities provided, no beach equipment, no waterpark that was advertised.The fridge was rusted, the walls were half painted. The unit was dirty, patio furniture was broken so couldn’t even be used. The dining table was snapped and held together by the metal piece of a door chain. One of the toilets wasn’t fastened to the floor. There was a light hanging down in one of the showers. It was all very unsafe for adults and our small children.I contacted the owner immediately about our findings. He said he’d be at the unit around 6pm, we waited around until 6:30pm. When we didn’t show, we loaded our stuff and headed out. I messaged him to let him know we wouldn’t be staying at the property. He called me and claimed to be at the unit around 7-7:15pm. He said he didn’t see anything wrong with the unit. We have proof of all the problems with the unit. We have contacted VRBO and are hoping for a resolution to this situation. We had to scramble and find somewhere that offered last minute reservations. I do not recommend this place or host.

Great oceanfront getaway!

Myself and my family overall had a great stay! It's located about .5 miles from the 14th ave pier, which was great for our morning beach walks, and was really cool to go and watch the locals do some fishing! Communication between the host and I was a breeze and the host is very quick to respond. The location is also a short walking distance to the boardwalk, where there's plenty of food choices, shops, and the big SkyWheel to ride. During the time of our stay, weather couldn't have been more perfect as well! I will definitely be planning a visit again!

The view is "gorgeous"; the condo is not, but it's nice.

IMO the condo is not "gorgeous" as stated in the listing, but the view certainly is. Morning sun on the balcony in mid-March is wonderful especially to us northerners.My honest review...the furniture is mismatched and some of it is outdated (I think the couch and chair are new) but it was fine. The mattresses were comfortable and the sheets and pillows are new. The sink, toilet and tub/shower in both bathrooms are new. The hairdryer in the one bathroom is the OG hotel-style wall mounted kind. The oven and microwave are new(er) and kitchen was clean. The coffee maker is not a Keurig. Paint job is newer, but not done well. Floors are clean. The location is great if you want to be downtown and 10 minutes from Broadway at the Beach and 20 minutes the airport. The building itself was clean and the common areas by the pool were updated. Front doors to building require a code to enter, which is nice.If you are looking for luxury or "gorgeous" this isn't it. If you are looking for a clean place to lie your head at night, cook dinner a few nights and be able to walk to downtown, this is for you. All in all, I never felt icky or grossed out. It served it's purpose for our 4 day trip.Frank, the owner, was great! Very responsive when we messaged and when we spoke on the phone. It's clear that he is trying to renovate the condo and is making an effort.

Shabby not chic

The building is nice and welcoming. The unit needs some attention to the small things. Several light bulbs out, dust on ceiling fans, stains on furniture, dishes not clean and walls need to be scrubbed and painted. Bath towels were plenty but no beach towels and only one dish towel. No bath mats so had to use bathroom towels. One shower had a moldy shower curtain. All three beds were made with very cheap and worn bedding and pillows. The mattresses are all firm. The drawers in the kitchen and bathrooms had junk in them so I doubt they get cleaned. We did not unpack anything. Overall the location is great and we would stay in this building but not this unit.

Great Ocean view

The Ocean view from the unit and location of the property were perfect. Check in was easy, clear and seamless. Communication with owner was great. One issue and it was resolved in minutes. Unit needs a deep cleaning and a professional paint job. Beds were comfortable but most of the furnishings could use a update.

Nice beach vacation

Location of Antlantica is great. Property is a little dated. Floor in bedroom with 2 queen beds was sticky and we could not figure out why. WiFi was spotty likely due to too many users with devices and streaming tv services. Lazy river was perfect in the heat. Beach access is great but no tents are allowed. Walking distance to restaurants and entertainment. Overall very enjoyable few day!

It was just ok

We stayed at the condo on memorial week. I was not aware it was bike week and roads were blocked off all the way to the boardwalk, battled traffic for hours. Once we arrived at the condo the staff onsite was very helpful. The positives were condo was very clean, complex was nice and clean, right by the elevator and stairs. Also, the security was awesome as we had some families that walked up to the pool that wasn’t staying and they were asked to leave, had excellent staff here. The cons were the beds were extremely hard and living room furniture was not comfortable. Even though it was not as comfortable as we were use to if you are staying for the beach or go to the boardwalk, or like extra firm mattress, it for you.

Enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at this property for 3 weeks in April although it is a good location we found it very noisy at night along the strip. The unit itself was very clean with a well appointed kitchen although a little short on the silverware and no can openers. Moving to the bedrooms we found them vey dark i.e. lighting was very poor, the flooring at the end of the bed in one bedroom had raised up and you had to be carful not to trip over it, the beds were coil spring mattresses but were comfortable although they are very low to the floor. Both bedroom windows face the hall and unfortunately there was quite a bit of noise at night i.e. hall doors slamming and foot traffic. There was 1 closet for both bedrooms and it was half full of old pictures and a blow up air mattress which was a little disappointing for my wife. Both bathrooms were updated and very clean although 1 sink stopper did not work Re. the configuration of the vanity top would not allow it to be fully depressed. We did enjoy our stay but the bedrooms and closet space were a little disappointing for us.
