House was exactly as pictured and very clean. We fit 3 families very comfortably between the 5 bedrooms & 3.5 bathrooms. The location inside the Ocean Lakes Campground made for great opportunities for long walks for the parents and outdoor activities (basketball, mini golf, volleyball, cornhole) for the teens, even in February. The host was incredibly responsive, and very kindly allowed a late checkout that helped us tremendously. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic Stay—Great House, Great Owner, So Much to Do!

We had a great experience staying at this rental! Jesse, the owner, was very easy to work with—responsive, accommodating, and attentive to our needs.When VRBO made a mistake with our reservation, we ended up working with Jesse to rearrange dates and make everything work. He handled it graciously and worked with us so we both benefitted from the change.The house had thoughtful touches that made our stay more comfortable—a well-stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes, coffee provided, a generous spice cabinet, a crib four our grandson, baby gates, a nice set of toys in the kids’ room, and even beach chairs, boogie boards, and sand toys. There were plenty of linens provided, and the house was clean and well taken care of. We even grilled a couple of meals outside and loved the outdoor eating area, which gave us space to enjoy meals together as a family.The golf cart rental from the owners was a fantastic bonus and made the whole resort experience much more enjoyable. It gave us the freedom to explore and get around easily, and added to the fun of the trip.We actually had no idea about Ocean Lakes Resort before booking this house through the VRBO listing, but we were pleasantly surprised. It had a true resort atmosphere—pools, beach access, putt-putt, arcade, activities, and more. There was so much to do that we really had no reason to leave the resort.We visited over the July 4th week, and there was so much happening—it made for a fun and lively atmosphere.

Lovely beach house

The house was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay. Everything that we needed was readily available. The house was well-stocked with toys and everything that we needed for the grandchildren. They had so much fun, they didn’t want to leave. Initially, I had a little trouble accessing the door lock (operator error - I’m a bit technologically challenged), but the owner promptly replied to my message right away, and I was able to get in with some direction.

Amazing place

The house was perfect and we loved it! You were a great host and I appreciate the constant line of communication! It was our first time renting a house in ocean lakes and through VRBO and you made it very easy! Would highly recommend, you or your guest will not be disappointed!! Amazing house!

Our family LOVED staying at this beautiful house. We had 10 people, from 4 to 72 years old. Having 2 golf carts helped tremendously so the older family members didnt have to wait in line to rent. The kitchen was stocked with EVERYTHING we needed, including crock-pot and electric griddle. The house is absolutely gorgeous, beds are comfortable, and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The outdoor furniture on the main level is SSOOO comfortable and there's even a small view of the ocean steaight off the deck. We hope to be back year after year!

2023 Family Vacation

Family friendly home. Nice set up, well laid out, and very spacious for a large family. Loved the large covered deck with enough furniture for everyone to sit and enjoy dinner together or just relax and watch nightly fireworks.

Loved our stay!

This house was accurately depicted in the description so no surprises at all. Great location and very accommodating to every age group. We had an amazing time and the golf carts were certainly a plus. Anything I needed the owner was quick to reply!! Our group of 11 had a wonderful time and more than enough room!!! This is by far our favorite trip to OL so far.

Perfect Setting for the ideal vacation

Jesse was so accommodating and generous with his time and this property. Me and my family had such a memorable experience at the house and couldn’t have been in a more perfect community. There were so many activities, events and amenities that made this the ideal vacation spot for our gathering. Would highly recommend.

Just what we were looking for!

We stayed at this rental in August. It was perfect for every age group! It had what everyone wanted and kept the kids busy with new toys that were provided! Getting to the beach was easy with a quick drive with the golf carts and there was even more entertainment within 20 minutes of a drive . Everything was clean upon arrival and check in was decently organized with the amount of people that were coming into the park at the same time. Def will be back!

Thoroughly enjoyed it!

This was a family and friends trip to take our kiddos trick or treating in the campground. It was a very nice house and convenient to all activities! The owner was very communicative throughout the weekend when we had any questions or issues. It was very clean and up to date with all appliances and decor. The huge front porch allowed for the kids to paint pumpkins, play games and decorate the house. We will definitely be staying here again and lots of memories were made!

Great place to stay in Myrtle beach

This was our first big family vacation since having little ones. This place was perfect! The home was very clean when we came in. We had 2 families and grandparents staying here and there was plenty of room for all. The property is located near everything (beach, pool, playground, concessions, and arcade) which made going around with the kiddos easy. The owners were prompt whenever we had questions. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the place was stocked with gear for children. This made it easier to travel light. I do recommend renting the golf carts as this is how everyone gets around. Plus it’s fun! We’ll definitely be back!

Just Right

The listing doesn’t do this place justice. This was our first time using a vacation home, so we didn’t know what to expect but were very happy with the entire stay. The house was in a great location for our group of 12, 8 adults, and 4 kids. The layout is perfect, giving everyone their own space when needed. The kitchen is stocked and functional. We used the wine fridge for the kid’s drinks, they loved having it to themselves. Game and games galore! We played every night with and without the kids. Loved the second deck for the young adults for later night hanging out. the extra toys in the garage were a hit as well. We grilled (wished the TV wasn’t out in that area) but we made do. Honestly, we ate on the main deck every night and only used the large dining room table to stage food. The owner, Jesse was great and very responsive to all texts and provided us excellent suggestions on what to see/do/eat while there. Lastly, the neighbors are great, and friendly and even gave us a few coupons, which means a lot for a large group! Thank you to this family for allowing us to stay and we wish you the best! Perfect house perfect location

We had a fantastic trip. From the very beginning, homeowner was on top of every detail. Check in was very easy. Location in the resort was perfect. Great view but far enough away from the main crowd. House had everything we needed. Such a great time. Couldn’t have asked for a better property owner.

Relax at Ocean Lakes

This was a great place to stay and very accommodating for 2 families with kids. The house is beautiful and has just been remodeled. The decor is coastal yet modern. All the amenities you need are there. From cookware to basic essentials and more. The porch is perfect for morning coffee and afternoon reading. It’s a great place to stay if you love Ocean Lakes.

Beautiful Beach House

From booking to check out everything was smooth and exceeded my expectations. The home was very clean, spacious and it was perfect for our group of 14. The beach toys and chairs was a perfect bonus. The kitchen had all appliances to cook in and plenty of storage for food we had brought. Walmart is literally right across the highway and Instacart will deliver to the main office area for you to meet and pick up. Also, there is a convenience store within the campground, an awesome pool/splash zone for kids and the waterslides were a huge hit! We will be back again and again!!!
