WOW! Usually the pictures don't do a place justice, but these pics of the actual property must be 30 years old! The actual unit had been poorly upgraded workmanship wise, but appearance inside unit, not looking too closely was just ok! the Management company was easy to deal with was our only upside! The property alone was just disgusting! OLD, UNKEPT, DIRTY & JUST GROSS. The pool was filthy with tiles that looked half ass repaired. The neighborhood was sketchy and the repairs going on at the pier right outside our window were a total eyesore. The bathroom remodel with jacuzzi tub was chipping off and the curtains in both rooms had tiny holes in them letting light thru every morning. All I have to say is "If you have excessively low standards - you won't be disappointed!" While we were there - a friend texted and asked how the heck did we book a stay at the Redneck Riviera? Apparently, being our first time to Myrtle Beach, we didn't know we should have stayed in NORTH MYRTLE BEACH!!!! We did drive the 25 mins to Dinner on our Anniversary and ate at nice steak place. Drove next day to Cherry grove public beach and ate at Buoys Oster Bar. Will NEVER STAY around Boardwalk area again or Boardwalk hotel. Yuck - Just Yuck!
