We were very disappointed with our stay. The room had multiple issues with cleanliness and maintenance. There were fruit flies throughout, the garbage disposal did not work, several TVs were not functioning, and the kitchen was extremely dirty—including the plates and glasses. When we opened the dishwasher, it clearly hadn’t been run and the smell filled the entire kitchen. One of the beds was unusable, and there was a large stain on one of the comforters.We took photos of everything upon arrival and reported the issues to guest services. Additionally, the listing is misleading—while you’re booking at Sand Dunes, you don’t receive any of the resort perks. For the price we paid, the experience was far from worth it. Even our kids asked not to come back.
