Girls Trip

This oceanfront 2nd floor corner, 2 bed room 2 bath unit is perfect for 4 friends to share. We loved the balcony, the ocean view, great pools and access to the beach. We want to rent this unit again next year.

Could have been informed!

The unit itself was great, views were wonderful! But the parking was a block away, the breakfast was a block away(but it was delicious) the hot tub was in another building and the ice machine was only on certain floors. The staff was fantastic !

Pretty good overall

Overall, it was a good stay/location. Went to throw wet towels in the dryer since we were told we couldn't get anymore from housekeeping being in a unit with a washer/dryer. Dryer wouldn't work. Called the front office and got a call back from the manager stating that she'll take off some from our stay and sent us up loads of towels. Seems like it was an issue they were aware of prior, though, so a heads up would have been appreciated. Only 1of the 3 TVs worked. Went up to turn the TV on by pressing the button on the TV and nothing. Kids loved the pools and the beach access was great! Definitely may stay again if we go back to Mertyl Beach.

Nice location

The property is in a good location, if you are looking to be on water. The views from the 2nd floor are great. The room itself is clean, the furniture is a bit dated. My only true complaint is with the door keypad. Having to enter a 10 digit code into a finicky keypad is pretty much ridiculous. Many times we had to enter the code 4 or more times. The first code they gave us, did not work at all.. I wouldn’t stay here again if the same keypad is in use

Great for a quick stay

A great location and easy check in. Our beds were not comfortable so staying longer would have been an issue. Access to the beach was amazing!

Lovely

This is a very clean and perfect place to be if you want to be close to the beach. Very clean and a very good staff to help you get your day going. Just be prepared to walk a block to park your car.

Very clean! Great views

Loved the beach access and view. The included buffet breakfast was very good. With everything else being great, I really want to recommend this place, but the living room furniture is very uncomfortable and the full size beds aren’t great. Would stay again with better furniture.

Perfect location for relaxing beach vacation

Although the unit’s furnishings were a little worn, everything was clean and comfortable. We had a little issue with sink faucet but staff were very helpful and took care of it. Loved having an end unit! Very private and quiet. Hurricane Idalia dampened a few days of our stay but still got some beach time!

Great ocean view

Clean, but outdated. Beds were comfortable. Parking garage was a block away, which was inconvenient. Great buffet breakfast everyday. Very close to many attractions.

Very very disappointed with our stay

We were told of no construction going on at this property . Day one plastic was covering 3/4 of our views . Day two woke to noise and talking workers on our side balcony , then patching holes on our main balcony no warning still . Day 3 workers on side balcony again and then later on our main balcony spraying a yellow chemical all over everything no explanation again . Day 4 pressure washing above and all around us to where if we went out we would have gotten wet . Day 5 more pressure washing on our balcony and and next to us . Day 6 the workers were on our balcony and proceeded to tape plastic on our balcony railing taking away what little view we had and then taking there break on Oort balcony while someone is getting screamed at on there phone so loud we couldn’t here the tv , then later they park at our side balcony that the plastic was finally removed from our windows and take there break while on there cell phones . We didn’t have one peaceful day at this place and was not warned at all and my wife would not let me complain because of fear . Very disappointed with Vacasa and wish VRBO would not let management companies like this rent from VRBO . PS I have video of a lot of this to share with anyone interested and would like to say Vacasa and Carolinian Beach Resort should be ashamed for not warning when booking or on there site that this type of work is going on peroid .

Breathtaking Views!!! Excellent location!!! Very Clean!!!

We stayed here with another family for 4 nights, our kids had blast on the beach and in their pool!!! Location is awesome and free breakfast is a plus!!! I would definitely recommend this condo and plan to stay here again soon!!!

Good for Oceanfront Unit

Unit was clean..a little dated. AC worked great. Pool was good. Convenient to beach. Nice activities at pool. Free breakfast place was packed each day, good food. Beds were good. Bottom line, this is a beach front place, anywhere else this unit is 2 stars, but for oceanfront, 4 stars for view, location and amenities.
