I came to Myrtle Beach for my girlfriend‘s birthday and stayed at the Cove. We enjoyed every minute of our stay excellent views where the hotel was located that was nice. I have no complaints.

Great Getaway

Loved this property! Photos were spot on! Was more than enough room for our family of four. Enjoyed the oceanfront view daily! Definitely what our family needed before our new addition arrives. We treated the space as we would our own. Place was clean. I'm a clean freak so I swept daily. Only wished there was a swifter in there so I could mop as well! Only issue we had was the key card didn't work for us for the additional parking across the street. But that was it. Staff was there 24/7 so we had no issue getting in and out. Will definitely book again!!!

There was a constant smell of marijuana that was not acceptable. There were a few nights that people were very loud in the middle of the night. The room was good.

Great view, great stay

When arrived parking was a little bit confusing. Small lot at the main entrance with only one 15 mins which made it rough to unload an load luggage. Key card to laundry room wasnt working. Great location, nice view of ocean, clean, had everything you need , hot tub an heated pool made it relaxing time after being on the beach. We enjoyed our vaction and recommended this stop for other guest. Will look into again next we vacation in SC again

Review

“ Newly remodeled” is far from accurate. New paint ( not well done) and new LVP flooring is all it seems that was done. Noisy as the condo is right across from the elevators. Building remodeling is constant 7 days all day. Fire alarms were being tested one day and they went on for hours! Fan in bathroom doesn’t keep the humidity out of the small bathroom. Two small bars of soap for two people for a week ! I’d suggest getting more modern lighting as the place is dark. Interesting electrical outlet on the soffit above the dining table. Update and get new furniture. Wouldn’t recommend staying at compass cove.

Condo was very clean! Host was great at communication with emails, texts, etc. The actual unit was a little challenging to find with the construction but it was also very late when we arrived. We had such a great time and barely heard any of the construction crew

Short getaway

We took a 5 day trip to Myrtle Beach to visit family and found a condo at Compass Cove Resorts offered by Big Fish Rentals. From first contact Julie and her team were wick to respond to any questions I had. The condo was new and clean, had everything we needed. Detailed instructions were given to what needed to be down at check out so there was never any questions. I would highly reommend renting form Big Fish Rentals, and when I am in the area next time I will be using their services again.

Weekend Getaway

Thank you so much for an amazing weekend. The property was as described, comfortable, and clean. I wish I would've known before hand that I could pay extra to have it set up for our weekend away but that was my fault. I was not thrilled about cleaning up after paying a 130 cleaning fee but hopefully we cleaned up as well as expected. Thank you again for having us.

January get away

Room,view, and Compass Cove was a great find. This room was totally updated. There was construction going on, wasn’t to bad. Heated pools and hot tubs everywhere. Our grandkids counted nine pools they were in. Will stay there again Thanks Dave And Nancy

Very Dirty / Horrible Customer Service

We quickly reported that one set of sheets were dirty, and housekeeping told us they were stained, and directed us to change them if necessary. Later when we stated the room was so dirty, we could not stay, there was no attempt to assist us in any way. Instead, our checkout list was sent. Even when we requested a phone call (acknowledging we would not be refunded), I was not called. When I finally spoke with a representative, he claimed the room was indeed clean before we arrived. Afterwards, my phone number was blocked. In addition to filth in the room, the pool had “gooey” residue along the sides.

According to the listing this was a new property. It was not and it was an ok remodel. Also wrist bands need updated you can not open any doors. And there is only one key card. And a lot of the time if your separate the person without the card has to hope another guest lets you in. I do think the listing needs to be changed it’s misleading. But the resort overall is nice.

June 2024 Pinnacle building

Room was nice. Enough space for everyone. I had to let owner know that the cleaning people left behind the prior peoples hair comb on the floor and floors were dirty. The tv was in French so it was unusable. The elevators and ice machine was outside the window next to bedroom. So if you go to bed before 2am, it’ll be loud. But aside from those few things, the condo was nice and big, the restaurant was priced well and quantity was good, drinks were cold and the amount of the pools they have is incredible. Also, The view is amazing.
