Family Holiday Villa

Amazing Wave Villa

We have just spent a week at Wave Villa after going last year the Villa is perfect for a large family or friends and the hospitality from the Owner Janis and his wife and family and the Manager Dimitris was incredible. Janis also came and did a traditional Cretan Lamb BBQ which was fantastic thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality. Our daughter had her wedding at the villa and it was the most wonderful occasion at Wave Villa with amazing scenery and backdrops for photographs once again thank you Yanis for allowing us to have this special occasion at your wonderful property. The villa is close to the lovely harbour town of Panormos and all the wonderful bars and restaurants. We are booking for another week in 2024, can’t wait!

Family holiday

We had a wonderful stay at this villa and the photos do not do it justice. The layout and the design of the villa is fantastic and it is very spacious. The pool was fantastic and the childrens pool was perfect for my 3 year old to splash around in. There is also a lot of shade round the pool, which is good if you have young children like us. The private beach is a couple of minutes walk away and is great for snorkelling! The communication was good with the property manager and he was always willing to help if we had any queries or questions and was quick to respond. There is a small supermarket within a 5 minute walk where you can get all the essentials, on the first day we were left with a great welcome pack which kept us going for a couple of days. The town is about a 15 minute walk away where there are many restaurants and a larger supermarket. We had a couple of lovely meals at at Locus and you even get to choose your own pasta from inside the restaurant which the kids loved. We also had a lovely meal at Cavo in Rethymno which is a 30 minute drive away but definitely worth it. We had the best red snapper we have ever eaten! Overall we had a great stay and we will definitely be returning! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Toller Urlaub in super Villa

Alles war top ! Was ich für die Zukunft noch empfehle würde: Eine Toilette im Aussenbereich, die man sowohl tagsüber bei Aufenthalt am Pool aber such abends beim Zusammensein sm großen Tisch / Lounge nutzen kann. Evtl. noch Wasserschlauch oder einfache Dusche am Strand. Alles andere wie gesagt wirklich top.

Family, birthday, stay at Wave Villa

Communication was always good and quick both beforehand and during our stay. Any requests or problems were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Thank you Valia and Dimitris. The night at the Cavo bar and restaurant, with all the family, was great and worth the 30 minute drive (although you arranged a nice taxi for us so we didn’t have to drive. Konstantinos, the chef, who came to the villa was brilliant and everyone loved that evening also. The pool area was great and the en suite bedrooms were nice. The only design flaw was a lack of a downstairs toilet for everyone to use. Adults and children had to go to their own rooms from the pool area to use a toilet. The dishwasher was too small for such a big villa. Overall a brilliant 7 days with all the family. Roger

Wave Villa - Simply Perfect

We spent a week at this wonderful property with all our family and our two young grandchildren from 21-28 May. We have had this property booked for 2 years and now with the pandemic over we finally achieved our dream holiday. The photos of Wave Villa are a true representation of the property and everyone was so impressed and so relaxed during our stay and our Grandchildren just loved the pool and all the outdoor space. We had local Chefs come in and cook for us, we also had local musicians come and play and the hosts and owners were always checking with us if everything was okay. The outdoor space and Gas BBQ were just great and everything in the property was just right. We were also impressed with the cleaner who came in every day and did a great job, changed towels and bedding. We have already booked for 2023, thank you Valia for a wonderful week in Crete

Superb!

We were a group of 10 friends visiting Crete for the first time, we were delighted with the villa and the village it sits beside. We found many lovely restaurants and tavernas within a 10 min walk and the weather was very kind given that we were early in the season. We had one small issue while at the villa and I only mention it to emphasise the speedy and excellent response of the owner who sorted it out even though it fell on a bank holiday! Thank you for a great chilled week.

Super villa einfach traumhaft

Perfekte villa für die ganze Familie. Hat alles einwandfrei geklappt sehr netter Kontakt und super Einführung. Der Pool ist traumhaft und mit der Poolheizung konnten wir noch im Oktober den ganzen Tag baden. Ich würde die Villa allen weiterempfehlen.

Great views and pool

We had a great time at the villa. It is modern and very spacious. The views and the pool are great! Very quiet except for the sounds of the waves. A week was definitely not enough, so we are really hoping to get back soon.

Highly recommended

A group of family and friends from 4 countries gathered for a wonderful week at this fantastic property. It is clear that the property was designed specifically for the rental market and it did not disappoint. The layout, fixtures, fittings and furniture were perfect - comfortable, welcoming and in tune with the clean modern lines of the villa. The outdoor areas make the most if the view and that's where we spent the vast majority of our time. The small town of Panormos was within easy walking distance and is a semi-hidden gem. Great to walk around with some wonderful restaurants. Our stay at Wave Villa was made complete by the services of Kostas and his team at Creating For You - He prepared 2 breakfasts and a dinner for us which were all gastronomic delights. Local, fresh ingredients, beautifully prepared, each with a story from Kostas. I cannot end this review without giving credit to the VRBO team that could not do enough for us - fantastic support.

Wave Villa October stay

We had a week in October - warm and sunny. The Villa is everything we wanted, close to town (5 mins walk) for meals out and shops, very comfy and spacious, great pool. The owners could not have been more hospitable, they cooked us a lovely traditional meal one day but otherwise left us to our holiday.

Luxurious brand new sea side villa in Crete

This brand new sea side villa located Panormos village is fantastic and comes with a private beach. It’s exactly as it looks like in the photos. The house was very comfortable clean and wonderfully furnished. All the beds were very comfortable. Our super hosts were very welcoming and stocked the house with basic amenities and food upon our arrival. They even went out of their way and cooked us a wonderful traditional Greek meal and offered us home made wine. The manager of the house was always on call for whenever we had an issue or request. Panormos town is a cute and quaint village with restaurants shops and a large hotel next to it. Every few days we had new beach and bathroom towels to be used at our disposal. We would love to go back !!!

As close to perfection as you will ever need

Wave Villa is quite simply stunning. The rental management, the villa/property on-site management, through to the owners’ hospitality could not have been better. And then we get to the villa itself. Perched on top of a cliff over looking the southern Aegean Sea, with a small private beach equipped with your own sun loungers and umbrellas, the small town of Panormos sits a short walk away with its small port, cobbled streets, cafes, bakery, butchers, general supermarkets, restaurants, arts and crafts shops, and the E75 main trunk road providing easy access across the north of the island, from one corner to the other. The villa has got to be one of the best that we have had the privileged to stay in. Large rooms, each with full shower and bathroom facilities, air conditioning throughout, and equipped with every amenity you could wish for when staying in property like this, including a fully loaded fridge, fresh fruit, tea and coffee, local olive oil, wine, and Raki (the must have Cretan spirit enjoyed after all meals, and even breakfast if it takes your fancy). And the owners personally cooked us a wonderful moussaka and traditional Greek dessert. Very thoughtful, and very special. Then you move outside of the villa and into the pool area. Here you’ll find separate areas, all seamlessly joined but each serving a function from the large dining area with comfortable cushioned benches, to the small and shallow kids’ pool area, to the sunken pool area with a couple of loungers that immerse you in the water, the beautiful pool itself, and the large jucazzi, all positioned within decking again equipped with high quality sun loungers and large sun umbrellas. In fact, the entire villa and property has an attention to detail from a design and from a practicality perspective that can only be described as impressive. We had a wonderful time at this villa. If we get the chance, we will certainly come back to enjoy once again Wave Villa. Thank you to all of the ‘team’.
