Traumurlaub

Wir durften eine ganze Woche in der traumhaften Villa Eleni verbringen. Die Gastgeber sind so herzliche Menschen,dass wir ganz gerührt waren. In der Villa fehlt es an nichts! Zum Strand fährt man mit dem Auto ca.5-10min. aber das ist absolut in Ordnung. Da wir von der Insel auch was sehen wollten

Amazing villa

The villa is exactly as the pictures show. The views are amazing and it is very private even though there is another villa next door. The property is in excellent condition and very comfortable. The drive up to the villa is very steep so be ready with your clutch control but you soon get used to it. The village is 5 mins away but I would recommend driving as it is a steep road down. Panormo which is a 10 min drive, is well worth a visit as the beach is lovely as is the town. Communication with the villa owners was excellent with immediate responses. Definitely recommend the villa if you want a peaceful and high quality villa with amazing views!

Lovely Stay

What a lovely villa, so nice and clean and the view wow. We had an issue when we were there but the owners were round to fix the problem immediately and the service received from them was amazing. The only negative is it's quite isolated so you need a car but then the benefit of that is that it's really quiet and tranquil.

Urlaub etwas abgelegen in den Bergen

Wir wurden von den Besitzern persönlich empfangen und haben zur Begrüßung einen gedeckten Tisch vorgefunden mit Wein und Raki und etwas warmen zu Essen. Genial, denn wir waren erst abends um 21:30 Uhr am Haus. Uns (4) hat das Haus und die Umgebung wunderbar gefallen, genau so wie wir den Urlaub haben wollten. Es ist aber tatsächlich angebracht ein Auto zu haben, um den Einkauf zu erledigen und die Insel zu erkunden. Im Haus selber war alles was man braucht, Waschmittel, Geschirrspültaps, Reinigungsmittel und Handtücher. Nach einer halben Woche wurde eine Zwischenreinigung gemacht, mit frischen Betten und neuen Handtüchern. PERFEKT! Wir können diese Villa nur weiter empfehlen und wer weiß, vielleicht fahren wir sogar selbst noch mal wieder hin.

Sehr schöner Urlaub!

Eine wirkliche sehr schöne Villa. Die Gastgeber sind extrem freundlich und haben uns zur späten Begrüßung sogar Essen zubereitet und die wichtigsten Grundsachen wie Wasser, Butter usw. schon im Kühlschrank bereit gestellt. Die Villa ist mit allen ausgestattet. Es wird bestimmt nicht unser letzter Urlaub hier gewesen sein. :-)

Das Haus ist wirklich toll. Sehr sauber und es fehlte an nichts.

Leider ist die Lage nicht ganz so optimal. Wer nicht viel Wert auf einen schönen Ort und Strand legt ist hier genau richtig. Jedesmal wenn wir zum Haus von Ausflügen zurück kehrten waren wir glücklich etwas schönes zum wohnen zu haben. Außerhalb blieb dies leider sehr auf der Strecke. Die Eigentümer sind sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für einen ruhigen Urlaub weg aus der Zivilisation ist dies genau richtig.

Wunderbarer Urlaub

Wir waren mit 3 Pärchen vor Ort und egal was wir brauchten, die Vermieter haben sich um alles gekümmert. Das Haus ist sauber und alles was man braucht ist schon dort. Die Aussicht über die Berge ist toll und egal ob Sonnenaufgang oder Untergang - alles von oben zu betrachten. Ein rundum super toller Urlaub mit absoluter Empfehlung!

An incredible Villa, trulyoutstanding

I stayed here with my wife and2daughters and my brothers family of a similar size. The villa was exceptionally well presented and of a really high standard. We were greeted by the family that own the villa with some home cooked food and a jug of the local Ouzo. The family were really hospitable and keen to help make sure our stay was what we wanted. They had a map prepared and talked us trough where we could go to see the sights. The Villa is well provisioned with the essentials; towels, coffee, sugar, olive oil (from the families own vineyard), toilet paper, charcoal etc. All the things that end up costing a small fortune on your first supermarket trip. The local town, Perama, is great for a supermarket run (and look out for the cake shop, it's superb), but it isn't good for much else in terms of a holiday! The local resort, Panormos, had a lovely beach and a good selection of Taverna's. I recommend the Porto Parassiris which is a restaurant and cocktail bar (split in two) with a lovely view. The food there was frsh and the service was excellent. If you have children, A short 20 minute trip to Bali will bring the benefit of a lovely beach with a large inflatable "it's a knockout" style play area that the kids will love. It was £12 for the whole day and £6 for 2 sunbeds and a parasol. My final tip is to visit the Kokkinos supermarket on the main road to Panormos (next to the petrol station), they have a fresh meat and cheese counter. From that counter there are a coupe of feta cheeses you can buy that are made in the town and some excellent Greek yogurt. In short, I can't recommend this villa enough, it was exceptional! *****

Very enjoyable 10 days - good location to visit much of Northern Crete within a 2 hour drive

Villa easy to find. Very well appointed and an excellent welcome on arrival. Local amenities - s/markets butchers all available in nearby Perama. All restaurants of any quality are 8 km away in Panormos as is the nearest beach. Menus are similar and quite varied.so diffential is service. Captains House and Porto Paritis on shoreline were our choice. If going to Spinalonga then check there are no local strikes! We did not and we’re caught out. Imbros Gorge worthy of visit especially the ad hoc taxi ride at the end. Beaches vary and can be very crowded in season. Georgioupoli a must with Rethymno for the more active.Crete is a lovely island andGreek people highly hospitable.

Amazing villa for a family holiday

We stayed at Villa Eleni for a week for our first family holiday with our 2 young boys and our friends. We couldn't have chosen better or asked for any more. When we arrived we were greeted by the owners for a tour of the villa, and with a home cooked Mousaka for dinner and some fresh bread, cheese and local olives. We had asked for highchairs, cots, a bed guard and toys which were all there for us, including a playpen which we didn't expect but was so handy with a 10 month old. They were so accommodating! The villa itself has all the home comforts you need. We found the layout perfect with small children as the pool is one side of the villa and the garden with the slide/swings on the other side so we didn't have to worry about watching them constantly around the pool. Location wise....a car is needed....but that wasn't a problem for us. We headed to the beach at Parnamo on our last day and wish we had time to go back as it is a lovely seaside town, and only 10 minutes from the villa. All in all.....highly recommend Villa Eleni and Think Villa....Valia was so helpful and always replied within the same day. Would love to go back again sometime!
