Overall, Nice property although disappointingly smaller than in the photographs. Good points - excellent host and welcome. Very clean. Not so good - much smaller than appears in photographs, very hard beds.

Fantastic

We had an amazing holiday and loved the villa. the pool was perfect and we used it every day . The host Anna was superb and left some provisions and cleaning products which made life easier. The clean while we were there was an added bonus. Loved the fabulous nearby bakery for breakfast.

Het huis is prachtig en precies zoals beschreven. Elke dag komt er iemand langs voor het zwembad en elke 4 dagen wordt het gehele verblijf schoongemaakt. Erg luxe. Helaas was het weer slecht tijdens ons verblijf en daardoor het zwembad te koud. Het strand is 15 min rijden en op 5 min rijden is een klein dorpje met een goeie koffie zaak en kleine supermarkt.

The home from home we crave.

The villa is exactly as seen, with a most hospitable welcome complete with fresh eggs, homemade olive oil and basic needs on arrival. Our host could not have made our holiday more comfortable, please note the nearby village is equally amenable. Rethymnon Centre is well worth a visit but more so don't miss Chania with its picturesque ports, whichever way you will enjoy!

Wonderful Holiday!

We had such a fantastic time at Anna Maria villa. On arrival the owner came to greet us and answered our questions about the local area. There was also water, wine and food supplies already in the fridge. She was lovely. We connected her mid stay and she was again really helpful. The villa was exceptionally clean & well appointed. We have stayed in many villas but this was the first time that we have had a cleaner come in during our stay. Having clean sheets & towels and the the villa freshened up twice a week was very much appreciated. The outside areas are lovely with beautiful views to sea and the most gorgeous sunsets. Kids loved the table tennis competitions and the tiny frog visitors at night time. It’s a very peaceful location which is exactly what we wanted but hiring a car is a must if you want to explore the island a little. Perama is the closest village, a short drive away. It has a couple of smaller supermarkets and local shops. Ideal when you first arrive to get food essentials. Panormos is a lovely small coastal town with shops and restaurants over looking the sea. It also has a very small sandy beach but was quite busy. The best beach we found was Episkopi Beach. It’s around a 30 minute drive but a beautiful sandy beach and a very long stretch so we felt like we had the beach to ourselves. We took beach picnics, towels & brought a parasol but there is a handful of beach restaurants with sun beds for free if you buy food and drink from them. Rethymno is very lively. Loads of restaurants and shops. The Venetian harbour is a really lovely spot for dinner. Our favourite restaurant was Civitas which is on the main strip. Gorgeous food & great service. We hired a boat from the harbour & had a lovely early evening out at sea. We went to see the pirate caves and found the secret beach. We also visited Chania. We loved it. Lots of winding old streets, shops, restaurants & boutique hotels. My husband & I would like to return without the kids :-) The Melidoni caves are also worth a visit. For any mountain bikers, my husband hired a bike from Kreta bike. Organised it all via email prior to the holiday & they delivered & collected the bike from the villa. He loved exploring the beautiful hills! All in all we had a wonderful holiday!

Beautiful Outdoor Space and very nice Villa

The villa was excellent in central area to see all of Crete. The pool area is wonderful with Sea view. The owner was very nice and helpful leaving lots of goodies for us. Eggs, bread, olive oil, wine and other goodies. The villa and Crete are both wonderful.

Good villa with great pool. Only 25 minutes from rethymno. Panormos is only 15 mins away for eating out at several tavernas. South Coast beaches are about an hours drive.

Lovely villa

We had an amazing time at this villa. The pool and outdoor spa were lovely at the end of our daily adventures. Anna Maria was very accommodating and friendly. Crete is a wonderful place to visit, and this villa’s central location made it easy to see a lot of the island. Nearby Melidoni was a really nice day trip, because we got to learn a lot about Cretan culture through a variety of attractions. (Olive oil, honey, Melidoni Cave, reptile world) We loved our stay!

Hoher Wohlfühlfaktor

In der Villa Anna Maria muss man sich einfach wohlfühlen. Es fehlt an nichts, der Ausblick und die Ruhe sind traumhaft, und das Haus und der schöne Pool-Bereich laden dazu ein, einfach nur die Atmosphäre zu genießen. Die Kommunikation mit den Ansprechpartnern vor Ort klappt gut und für die Anreise ist sogar eine erste Willkommensaustattung im Kühlschrank bereit - es wurde wirklich an alles gedacht, was den Aufenthalt zu einem wirklich schönen Urlaub werden lässt.

Wunderbarer Urlaub

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren zweiwöchigen Urlaub in dieser tollen Villa. Man merkt schon, dass das Haus nicht mehr neu ist, nichtsdestotrotz ist das Objekt genauso wie auf den Fotos beschrieben. Der Pool ist erstklassig. Er ist sehr sauber und wird zweimal in der Woche gereinigt. Die Zimmer sind klein aber vollkommen ausreichend. Kleinere Mängel wurden sofort von Anna Maria (Besitzerin) nach Meldung repariert. Zudem war Anna Maria stets und dauerhaft erreichbar. Nach einem Stromausfall in der Region informierte sie uns gleich, dass das Problem von den Stromwerken sofort behoben werde. Ein Auto ist ein absolutes muss. Wir hatten mehrere tolle Abendessen im nahe gelegenen Panormos. Ein kleiner Supermarkt findet sich der Nähe. Allerdings ist auch hier ein Auto ein Muss! Wir sind insgesamt als siebenköpfige Familie inklusive zwei Schulkindern verreist. Der perfekte Ort für eine Familienreise! Vielen Dank für diesen schönen Urlaub! 100 % Weiterempfehlung Noch einige Empfehlungen für Ausflüge: Der zweite Strand in Bali wurde uns ans Herz gelegt. Er ist toll zum Baden, weil hier keinerlei Wellengang ist. Unsere Tochter hat hier das Schwimmen gelernt! Allerdings gibt es dort kleine beißende Fische. Wer einen Strand wie in der Karibik mit direkt angrenzender Taverne und kostenlosen Strandliegen inklusive Schirmen aus Stroh sucht, der muss unbedingt nach Lappa (vor Georgiopolus) fahren. Das befindet sich von der Villa aus circa 10 Minuten hinter Rethymnon. Episkopi Beach bzw golden Starfish!

Würden jederzeit wiederkommen

Das Objekt entspricht zum allergrößten Teil den eingestellten Bildern, die Ausstattung - besonders in der Küche (Geschirr, Kochutensilien usw.), Kühlschrank mit genügend großen Eisfächern usw. ist sehr gut. Internet stabil und ausreichend schnell. WLAN für Smartphones (verschiedene Marken) im ersten Stock jedoch sehr schwach, im Erdgeschoss und Poolbereich einwandfrei. Tipp: Wir hatten via Notebook im Obergeschoß einen WLAN-Hotspot eingerichtet, da WLAN für Notebook (aufgrund der stärkeren Antenne gut war) und damit auch im Obergeschoss für die Smartphones ausreichend Empfang via des Hotspots. Die Grundreinigung bei Übergabe war insbesondere im Küchenbereich ausbaufähig gewesen. TV mit nahezu allen relevanten deutschen Sendern. Ansonsten netter, unkomplizierter Kontakt zur Agentur und der Gastgeberin. Wir haben insgesamt den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Aufenthalt Villa Anna Maria

Wir waren im Oktober 2020 14 Tage als Familie mit drei Kindern in der Villa Anna Maria. Ein Mietwagen ist unbedingt erforderlich. Die Villa liegt in den Bergen mit Blick auf das Meer. Alles war super sauber und genau wie beschrieben. Wir hatten absolut unsere Privatsphäre. Als wir ankamen wurden wir von Anna Maria sehr freundlich empfangen und sie zeigte uns das Anwesen. Da sie mit ihrer Familie in der Nähe wohnt war jeglicher Kontakt völlig unkompliziert. Wir haben sehr schöne Tage verlebt und den Pool haben insbesondere unsere Kinder viel genutzt. Aufgrund der Corona Situation wurden nicht automatisch nach einer Woche die Bettwäsche und Handtücher gewechselt, aber eine weitere Garnitur war in der Wohnung hinterlegt und Handtücher für den Innen-und Aussenbereich waren reichlich vorhanden. Wir haben die Ruhe sehr genossen und empfehlen die Villa Anna Maria gerne weiter. Besonders nett fanden wir, dass wir zum Abschied 1 Flasche selbst produziertes Olivenöl geschenkt bekamen.

Kreta ist so toll

Tolles Haus. Es war alles vorhanden. Der Ausblick war grandios. Etwas weit entfernt von allen Dingen, aber mit dem Auto ging es. Wir mussten aber auf abendliche Feiern verzichten, da immer einer fahren musste. Wer aber Ruhe mag, ist hier genau richtig. Insgesamt ein toller Urlaub auf einer wunderschönen Insel.

Une semaine merveilleuse / A wonderful week

La propriété est juste au top, belle piscine eau très chaudes c'est agréable pour se baigner, le vue depuis le jardin est imprenable, vous pourrez y voir le plus beau coucher de soleil de votre vie!!Tout est parfait à la villa Anna Maria l' extérieure est très fonctionnelle pour passer du bon temps dehors, la villa n'est pas en reste elle est très belle et agréable. Notre location de la villa reste un des points les plus positif de notre voyage parmis tant d'autres. Merci a Anna Maria pour nous avoir reçu, et également un grand merci à Valia elle est vraiment au petit soin pour les hôtes, malgré cette période compliquée avec le Covid, elle a été présente à tout moment pour nous rassurer et nous renseigner. Nous avons passé de très belle vacances merci. The property is right on top, beautiful pool very hot water it's nice to bathe, the view from the garden is stunning, you can see the most beautiful sunset of your life!! Everything is perfect at the Villa Anna Maria the outside is very functional to spend good time outside, the villa is not left out it is very beautiful and pleasant. Our villa rental remains one of the most positive points of our trip among so many others. Thanks to Anna Maria for receiving us, and also a big thank you to Valia she is really caring for the guests, despite this complicated period with the Covid, she was present at all times to reassure us and inform us. We had a great holiday thank you.

Privatsphäre

Man sollte voraus mitgeteilt bekommen, wann das Putzpersonal kommt. Die Privatsphäre wurde so immer wieder gestört. Sonst alles top.

Wunderbar

Wir waren mit 6 Erwachsenen und einem Kind für 9 Tage in der Villa Anna Maria. Das Haus ist in einem sehr guten Zustand und mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet. Kleinste Mängel werden nach Meldung sofort abgestellt. 2 mal in 9 Tagen wurde das Haus gereinigt und neue Bettwäsche und neue Handtücher gebracht. Einfach "TOP" kann man nur sagen. Und vor allem Anna-Maria selbst ist super nett, freundlich und hilft bei allem. Die Aussicht aufs Meer, der kleine aber feine Pool, der Whirlpool, der gemauerte Grill --- alles Top. Würden sofort wieder buchen.
