Review of Villa Marina

We had a lovely stay at Villa Marina. It is a spacious and clean property in a lovely setting- surrounded by fruit trees and olive groves.Very peaceful but close to amenities and lots of beaches and other attractions close by.We particularly liked the beaches and restaurants in panormo. The swimming pool at the villa was perfect to cool off after a hot day. Marina was very helpful and responsive to any queries we had. Altogether a lovely holiday!

Heerlijk verblijf

Mooie villa vlak bij het dorp maar toch prive. Eigenaar was vriendelijk en behulpzaam en heeft ons veel tips gegeven over leuke dingen in de buurt. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Wie waren mit 4 Personen im Haus und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Alles war sehr sauber. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Man findet alle möglichen Utensilien zum Kochen und Grillen. Das Highlight ist natürlich der große Pool. Im Garten findet man reichlich Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten. Außerdem haben uns die vielen Balkone gefallen so, dass man sich immer draußen aufhalten kann. Bei Fragen hat sich Marina immer schnell um alles gekümmert.

Beautiful Cretan Hideaway!

Villa Marina is a beautiful, well equipped and comfortably furnished holiday home in the olive groves and hills of Rethymnon region. There is a lovely pool in a well maintained garden, an outdoor dining area right outside the kitchen which is very well equipped for self-catering. The bedrooms are clean, with comfortable beds and air conditioning. Two full bathrooms, a comfortable lounge area, several balconies with great views, and lovely outdoor spaces all around.

Villa top au calme

La villa est très bien située. Au calme, à environ 20min de Rethymnon et 15min des plages. Marina est une hôte attentionnée qui prend à cœur que ses invités se sentent bien. Le 1er petit déjeuner ainsi qu'un pot d'accueil à l'arrivée ont été très apprécié. Nous sommes arrivés tard et Marina est tout de même venue nous accueillir. Le jardin, la piscine et les terrasses sont de très beaux endroits pour se détendre et profiter du panorama splendide. Les Crétois sont très accueillants et nous reviendrons certainement visiter cette superbe ile. L'entretien de la piscine est réalisé tous les 2 jours, il faut donc éviter de laisser trainer ses affaires. Comme dans beaucoup de sites en Crête, l'eau du robinet n'est pas potable, il faut donc prévoir d'acheter beaucoup de bouteilles, mais son Papa, vient très régulièrement remplir la cuve donc pas de soucis pour les douches et la vaisselle. Merci encore à Marina pour sa Villa qui vaut le détour. Je conseille vivement cette maison.

Urlaub zum Entspannen und Relaxen

Die Villa ist sehr schön gelegen, man hat tatsächlich die traumhafte Aussicht wie auf den Fotos. Die Eigentümerin hatte frisches Obst und guten Raki zum Testen bereitgestellt. Für das erste Frühstück waren Produkte vorhanden. Supermärkte sind in direkter Nähe. Die reifen Früchte im Garten durften wir ernten, z.B. Zitronen, Pfirsiche, Trauben. Die Dusche im EG ist für schlanke Menschen ausgerichtet. Wenn man flexibel ist, so weicht man ins Apartement im UG aus. Dort hat man mehr Bewegungsfreiheit beim Duschen. Der Pool ist angenehm und nicht zu stark gechlort. Der Kunstrasen ist genial, so bleiben die nassen Füße sauber. Die Liegen sind durch die dicke Polsterung sehr bequem.

Beautiful place! Excellent house for a big family with 4 teens and a seven year old. Calm and quiet street. Great food in the area! Short drive to local beaches and about 20 min from Rethymno!

Great stay

Before we travelled Marina was very helpful in answering all of our questions, and even with a late flight arrival marina was still on hand to help us find the property. The location and villa are stunning, you are remote enough to get a real privste feel yet only a 10 minute walk into the town On arrival the villa was very clean and well stocked with food and drink to see us through our first night The pool table is not in the best condition, so was unusable to us, the bed is very bowed and near the pockets very swollen. Some of the pool cues were brittle slipped and snapped, this was a complete accident yet we were made to feel on edge about this and as though we had done this maliciously- even though we offered to pay towards the replacement Being fair skinned and some of our party having a medical history meaning sun cream and sun safety is very important to us we were surprised to receive a message to tell us that due to the fact we were wearing sun cream which has come off in the pool we couldnt use the pool for 24hrs. To add to this marina came to clean the pool in the evening when we had only been out of the pool for 30 minutes not really giving the chlorine time to work (especially when there were 7 people in the pool) When our friend had a medical emergency on the last evening marina was very helpful and allowed us to stay for longer on check out day which really helped. Overall we had a very good stay and this is a lovely villa

Best choice

With a group of six friends we were in Crete for two weeks and had the perfect home with this villa. We were all thrilled with the beauty of the house and the property around it. Not only was it geographically a good place from which to explore the entire island, but we also enjoyed the many great features of the house itself, such as the clean pool, the two barbecue terraces and the sunrise breakfast on the balcony. Only the pool table is unfortunately no longer in good condition, but this is only a small thing that could not make our enthusiasm for the house less. The hospitality, availlability and helpfulness is excellent. 100 percent recommendable.

Lovely spacious villa in quiet setting. Perfect host. Close to beaches and historical sites.

We had a fantastic two week stay at Villa Marina which is set in a really peaceful location but just a short walk / drive into the town of Perama. The villa is surrounded by olive trees with beautiful views from the balcony. The villa has everything you need, spacious, and very comfortable, and is spotlessly clean. It has three bedrooms inside the villa and a small studio with double bedroom on the ground floor. Our host Marina was just wonderful, we have never had such a warm, friendly and welcoming host and Marina went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. She was great at recommending good places to visit and we went to some lovely quiet little villages near by including Margarites (great for pottery) and Melidoni for the caves and reptile land. Both of which have some really lovely tavernas. We loved the beaches in Bali and Panormos and Gerapotamus. We would thoroughly recommend this villa for a prefect stay in Crete. Thank you Marina for your kindness.

Traumhafter Urlaub unter Freunden

Wir hatten einen super schönen Aufenthalt in der Villa Marina. Die Villa ist sehr schön ruhig gelegen und verfügt über alles was das Herz begehrt. Man musste auf nichts verzichten, da alles vorhanden ist. Ein ganz besonderer Dank geht an die Gastgeberin Marina, die uns unfassbar herzlich empfangen hat und während des gesamten Aufenthalts jederzeit für uns erreichbar war. Probleme wurden umgehend gelöst und sie war steht’s bereit uns bei allem zu helfen! Danke Marina, es war ein toller Urlaub!
