Lovely Villa but a huge BUT ...........

This review relates to our experience as a family with young children. If I was in a group of young couples or friends that liked to party until the early hours and loved Ibiza lounge dance music then I would have given it 4 stars .100 metres or so from the Villa (with no buildings in between) is Bar Baboo that plays very loud dance music with lots of base until 1am , 7 days per week . It seems this has recently started. Our friends stayed in this Villa in May and it wasn't happening then. Even with ear plugs we couldn't sleep, the thump of the base vibrated through your pillow.It spoilt the trip.In three of the bedrooms you had to stay awake until 1am , the other 2 were not as bad. If you are not in the category above, 100% I would not recommend you stay in this Villa . I feel sorry for the owner that they have this on their doorstep but reviews are for future guests not owners.If you are a young adult party that likes Ibiza dance music you will probably find the Villa stunning , so much room , lots of outdoor space as per the pics. Bedrooms are a let down, apart from 1 they are small and basic and the bathrooms minute , only one person can fit in them at a time. The bar below was amazing just order and they bring it to the villa .Etouri concierge were great but the arrival handover was very poor with the caretaker Manolis running around and left in less than 5 minutes .There are very few instructions , example a cinema room with three remotes and no instructions.

This villa is stunning!!!! The service from Micheal who runs the resterant just outside the villa was incredible! Whatever you needed, Micheal brought to you! He would deliver food to the beach or villa. The villa sits in the cutest village! Compared to most of the congested towns in Greece this was a refreshing change. Shops, spa, and many restaurant options are literally steps from your door, but you do feel the sense of open space. The villa looks exactly like the photos! So many great spaces to enjoy and hang out. There are two beaches within walking distance! Both have beach clubs which was very fun! We spent an EPIC week here! If you get the chance to rent this gem, I would jump on it!

Nice luxurious Villa

Clean, modern villa, accurately portrayed in photos. Staff made us daily brunch and served it at the dinner table overlooking the sea. There’s a cement road between the Villa and the beach, but it was convenient for parking our rental cars. There's a private area on the beach with beach chairs to enjoy. The villa’s garage was rented to a coffee shop/bar and the owners will deliver beverages and meals to you on the beach or at the villa. Nice Bluetooth sound system throughout the villa to enjoy music. Air conditioning works well. We’d return.

Perfect location for a family vacation

We stayed here for 8 days with 4 children aged 1 to 10 and 8 adults. It surpassed our expectations and I would recommend this beautiful villa to anyone that asked. Would not change one thing about the villa or location. The town of Bali is a hidden gem

Incredible villa!

We stayed at villa Moana for our family reunion (14 people) and my birthday celebration. Everything was amazing and way above our expectations! The villa itself is gorgeous, very spacious, so it never felt crowded despite full occupancy and some friends visiting as well. Theres plenty of space for everyone and even more secluded/hiding areas in case someone wanted more privacy. The staff was very helpful and accommodating! Especially appreciated the help provided by villas concierge service with all the planning of the Birthday party. Irene was very professional and gave great referrals (the private chef dining experience was top notch!!!). Cleaning ladies were very pleasant and professional as well. Would definitely come back and recommend to our friends!

Dream villa

Loved our time at Villa Moana. Gorgeous 6 bedroom 7 bath home with multiple outdoor spaces and 10 m from the beach front. Easy walk to grocery stores (plural), restaurants, pharmacy, etc. Lovely staff and amenities.

Villa Moana, Crete

Moana Villa provided perfect accommodation for a 3-generation family group, including 2 small children. The layout of the villa, including the pool area, and proximity to the beach made everything very straightforward. Local tavernas were quick to help with food and the chef service was excellent, as was the concierge service. An excellent holiday.

Excellent stay with excellent friends

Stayed here for a week with a large group of friends. The Villa is perfect. Lots of space and amenities. The pool, hot tub and other games were a big hit. Right on the beach with reserved chairs. Close to many restaurants and stores all of which were great. The thing that really stood out though was the service we received from everyone involved. Bar service, housekeeping, concierge, transport. All excellent. We enjoyed our time there immensely. Highly recommend.

Amazing Villa and an Amazing Holiday

Villa Moana is a fantastic property. Three generations of our family (13 of us) stayed there, and because the villa is so large, there was plenty of space to find some peace. Manolis and the housekeepers kept everywhere spotless. We would love to return there again one day.

Spectacular villa, everything you could want and even better than described. Clean, spacious, comprehensive seating spread throughout the grounds, almost possible to lose yourself should you wish! Manolis and cleaners were excellent but not intrusive. Walking distance to Tavernas and old port. Beach water sports 3 mins away. We had a private chef one evening and the meal was glorious and educational.Would recommend the sunset cruise from the Old Port. Pool was refreshing and baby pool got lots of use, well thought out. Great views from all points especially the hot tub.A wonderful family holiday with many special memories and everyone hopes to return.

Amazing property.

As the matriarch of our family of eleven, I chose the property based on it size and amenities. I was in giggles when I actually saw it; pictures are true to life without camera tricks. Beautiful accommodations, excellent staff, wonderful proximity to beach and restaurants. Had many meals at the various lovely spots at the Villa. Can’t brag enough about an experience we will remember always. Villa Moana and it’s staff are a testament to Greek hospitality.

A wonderful vacation!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Moana! Really a dream vacation! We were a group 12, one family of all ages from 60 to 10, and it was amazing for all of us. The Villa is exactly as described, the photos are very accurate. It is big, with a lot of spots to hang out, either with a group or by yourself, if you wish for a moment alone. The bedrooms are very airy and spacious, the bedding is very comfortable. The pool is great! We were using it all the time, especially the kids. Same with the hot tub :) The kitchen is well stocked for any chef, and there are several spots with large tables to eat together. The beach is a few steps away, and it was very nice to have a section, right in front of the villa, that is reserved to us at all times. Priceless! There are water sports just a few steps away, and we definitely tried all the options there. Location is very convenient either - there are supermarkets and other stores just a few steps away (we also made bigger orders online, very convenient!). There are several restaurants. The port is 5 minutes away by car (we walked :), and it's very beautiful, with more restaurants, shops and water sports. It was very nice and convenient to have the cleaners come everyday, with linens and towels changed every other day. In general, everything was spotless. Manolis, who is the company's in-charge person, was amazing too! Very nice and attentive, solved any small problem that we had. Thank you Manolis! A wonderful vacation! It was hard to leave.

Exceeded Expectations!!

Amazing property with everything supplied that you need to make your Grecian Vacation a Dream!! The property is Priceless and better than the photos. It comfortably sleeps 12 - 10 adults easily. Huge expansive property!! The location is great - the area was quiet but beautiful with good restaurants nearby. Thanks to the staff at Villa Moana

Amazing Villa Moana!

What an absolutely incredible holiday we all had at Villa Moana. You guys were so quick to respond to and gather information for any queries in the organising and run-up to the holiday and it didn’t go unnoticed. Once we were at the villa itself, we were blown away by how stunning it is and also how we didn’t want for anything. Manolis was brilliant, so understated in everything he did but fulfilling our every wish and also the cleaning ladies were absolutely lovely and worked so hard. The weather was also unbelievable, we didn’t see a single cloud for the entire week, a lovely breeze and no humidity - we felt like we hit the jackpot!

WOW WOW WOW!!

We spent a week at this beautiful property with 10 people - adults and teens, and I cannot say enough positive things about our week here! The house is simply stunning. The photos, while amazing, do not do it justice! The pool area is a little oasis, the beach is steps away from the front door and was amazing, the kitchen, the pool table, the multiple sitting and gathering areas.....all perfect! The detached living area in the back is also incredible! In looking at the photos on line, I thought this was a space we would never use - but it is stunning, with louvered glass door/windows all around and an electric retractable roof such that it can be open air or encloses with air conditioning! And, as amazing as the physical structure was, even more impressive was the amazing house staff - Maria, Eva and Manolis, who tended to the house daily. And the cherry on top of it all was the La Pierre cafe right downstairs operated by Manolis. He was a wonderful ambassador for Bali beach and Greece in general, he provided helpful tips, many morning coffees and afternoon cocktails and by the end of our week there, spending time with him and his friends near the water over a beverage at the end of the day became one of our favorite rituals. Finally, the Etouri team was beyond helpful in organizing airport transfers, private chefs, wine tastings, sailing trips, transportation and dinner reservations - all before we arrived at the villa. Every event we planned was perfect! Thank you to Erini, Kostas and the entire team. I will definitely make another trip back to Greece specifically to stay at this property! It was an amazing week!

Mooier dan verwacht!

Met onze familie van 13 personen tussen de leeftijd van 2 en 73 jaar zijn wij een week verbleven in Villa Moana en hebben het fantastisch gehad. In de eerste week van mei was het verwarmen van het zwembad wel nodig en het water was daardoor heerlijk van temperatuur. Ook de omgeving is veel mooier en leuker dan verwacht, letterlijk naast de deur zijn gezellige eetgelegenheden en supermarkten. Het uitzicht is prachtig! Het contact, het personeel en het schoonmaken van het geheel is zeer verzorgd en netjes. Een absolute aanrader!!

Amazing house and service, highly recommend!

We were three American families (6 adults, 8 children ranging from 2-14 years) who came to Crete in June 2021, during the pandemic, and this house was a total dream in every single way! The pictures are absolutely accurate, and the house is completely stunning with gorgeously appointed rooms both inside and out. However, it's the service that comes with the house that just blew us away. The service crew, who were so kind and informed, are located just out the front door of the house from early morning until 10pm. When we arrived, they said to tell them whatever our hearts desired, and they would provide for us! Can you imagine that? They completely delivered on this. Anytime of day, we could have smoothies, coffees, cocktails or prepared food brought to the house or beach. We could also have groceries brought in anytime. We had 6 cabanas set up on the beach at all times, and the service came there anytime as well. They made dinner reservations for us and arranged a driver to take us where we wanted. We had a chef come to the house a few nights as well, which worked out perfectly. They provided everything happily and with big smiles. We have rented quite a few houses in beautiful locations, but this one tops the list in terms of accommodation, atmosphere, and service. Crete as a location is also pretty perfect too!

Better than you can imagine

We had the most lovely week, in large because of the hospitality and attention to service by the staff and the spaciousness of the villa. We enjoyed every aspect of the villa: movie room, pool table, ping pong, pool, incredible outdoor spaces, hot tub. The villa was even better than the photos! And the location is beyond compare! Steps from your private area on the sea, just a few meters from coffee shops, restaurants, shops. We couldn’t have chosen a more Wonderdul place for our holiday. We will be back. Many, many thanks to all of the folks who made our vacation special - from our housekeeping crew to the caretakers. Amazing!

Ich kann alle bisherigen Bewertungen zustimmen. Die Villa sieht live genau so wie auf den Bildern aus, wenn nicht besser. Wir waren 8 Erwachsenen und 4 Kinder und hatten alles was wir brauchten. Ein grosses Dankeschön an Mr. Manolis und seine Assistenten, die immer für uns da waren, sowie das Etouri Team, das bei Fragen stets zur Antwort stand. Egal was man braucht, alle Wünsche werden erfüllt. Vielen Dank an alle, macht weiter so!

As described. Great vacation!

We had an great holiday! The house is exactly as the pictures and the description. Very well furnished and has everything you need. Rooms: We struggled to fit our clothes because the wardrobe space is limited and the bathrooms are a bit small but besides that the rooms were comfortable. Common areas (inside): Spacious and well furnished. Very comfortable and well furnished, with everything you need. Kitchen: Big enough and well supplied with everything you need. Nesspreso coffee machine (much appreciated). BBQ: Big and comfortable. We did most of the cooking there. If you don’t want to cook there is a great restaurant next door which brings and serves the food at your table and it’s cheap. Very comfortable! Common areas (outside): Very well organized and furnished with different areas for all types of moods and crowds. We spend all of our days there. The only thing I would say is that it is a bit small for the house. Staff members: The cleaning staff are great! Incredible people who came every day to clean and made sure everything was perfect. They were so sweet they brought presents for our kids and home made food for us. Overall: A great vacation!
