"I really can't rave enough about the stay we had at this beautiful mountain haven! We were here on a 3-generation family vacation - my father in law has great interest in Civil War history and this home was perfectly situated to get to many sites easily. We all loved this house! Secluded, quiet, peaceful with gorgeous natural surroundings. We were seriously obsessed with the design and decor inside. Everyone thought the beds were amazingly comfortable. The kitchen is AWESOME and fully stocked....

"The house is perfect for a group of friends or a family as there is a nice area to sit and talk or watch television, a food kitchen area to cook, and nice size bedrooms for privacy.The only criticism I have is the exhaust fans need to be cleaned and the AC upstairs is not strong, so gets hot to sleep at night.The host is great and communicates well. The directions were excellent and the keypad on the front door was great.The location is close to downtown but in its own development."

"Second time staying for girls weekend away. Nice and roomy unfortunately we did have a small issue. Hot water tank went out on us. However, communication between house manager was on point!! The hot water tank was unable to be fixed during our stay as expected for a Saturday and Sunday. This will not stop us from enjoying this house again in the near future. "

"We absolutely loved our time at this home. It was my 60th birthday and my husband and I invited two couples to join us. My husband surprised me with a chef from DC who cooked us an amazing 5 course meal that we ate on the huge deck under a full blue moon! Between courses we moved over to the gas "fire-pit". "As VRBO owners, we were very pleased with our accommodations. The house was amazing. Plenty of room for our 3-generation family! Kitchen was stocked with plenty of utensils and cookware for Gram’s famous fried chicken with lots of help from g’daughters. 4 bedrooms with beds that were super comfortable; cozy and warm for Gram, cool and comfy for the rest. "We had a great time. It is an older house but wonderful. It is in the country with lots of green fields surrounding it. The porch with the rockers was my favorite place to be when we weren’t site seeing, It was so peaceful. I would definitely stay here again."

"This is a wonderful spot to stay when visiting Harpers Ferry. The hosts have thought of everything you could possibly need. Their home is neat, clean and convenient to all the things you want to do on a visit to the National Park. Although there were only two of us on this trip, the home could easily handle a family of 5. I would say that all you have to do is bring your toothbrush, but the hosts even supplied toothbrushes in the master bath! An incredible value."
