  • Come stay and visit the Avenue of the Giants,and see the redwoods! 5 acres fully fenced with automatic gate. King size Tempur-pedic mattress and two bathrooms. One with a walk-in shower and one with a bath/ tub combo….Close to the highway but very private....it is located between the towns of Miranda and Myers flat . No neighbors within eyesight.Enjoy a nice barbecue out on the deck next to the redwoods and beautiful flower garden or cook inside…. The Avenue Cafe is just a couple miles down the road also….. House is equipped with a full kitchen with everything you would need to make a fabulous meal.…. just like your own home.
    Smart TV in the bedroom and in the living room….. Starlink Internet.

The kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals. I didn't use the BBQ but it was clean and ready to use. The location was great and the adjacent redwoods and view of the river were just what I wanted.

Absolutely wonderful. The host has a beautiful getaway and easy access. The house features were excellent and my wife loved to eclectic details that kept her busy enjoying all the little nick-nacks. The kitchen has everything we needed. Over-all the best place we have ever stayed. Thanks, Sandra

Location was excellent. Kitchen was fully stocked. The house was cute and comfortable. We spent much of 4 days hiking and driving through amazing redwoods.

Relaxing in Miranda

We had a wonderful stay at this clean and comfy home. The location was great for our trips to the redwoods for hiking and to the nearby towns for a bite to eat. Sandra was communicative and helpful.

Fabulous Place

This is a fabulous property to stay in — spacious and beautiful in an idyllic setting of Redwood trees. Perfect location just off the Avenue of the Giants in Humboldt Redwoods State Park. Couldn’t have been better.

Perfect , visiting redwoods, to the beach

right off 101 / Ave. of the Giants, (redwoods), easy commute to small towns, hiking, fishing and Shelter cove (black beach too). Home and grounds were lovely and well appointed. Owner was a joy to work with. Would / will stay here again.

Best place we stayed in our 3 weeks in Cali. Amazing host. perfect location for the Highway of Giants and Humboldt. Full kitchen, perfect to cook a full meal after a long day hiking. Highest recommendation

Sorry I could not rate this 5 stars. Only because of one issue. Check in was easy, the host was communicative with and super nice. The house was lovely and clean.The issue was, when you pay hotel prices there are basic expectations. This being, body wash and shampoo. When I asked about this, the host said this is not supplied. I find that shocking. Anyhow in the end, she sent some used bottles over. Otherwise, it really is a fabulous place and location, tucked away in the beautiful Redwoods.

Thoroughly enjoyed my weekend stay in a beautiful home designed with love. Even if my plans of visiting the redwoods were somehow canceled, I would have been perfectly content with studying the decor and sinking into deep relaxation in an oasis of lush flora and delightful motifs. Many thanks to my gracious host for this unforgettable experience, and I cannot wait to share this gem with others!

Wonderful getaway!

This property is packed full of charm. Everything is beautifully cared for. Clean and comfortable. If your looking to unwind next to the giant redwoods, this is a ideal location. Fantastic

The home, location and host were amazing. The home is beautiful and comfortable and the setting is wonderful. We had everthing we needed for our time near the Avenue of the Giants. We could not recommend this place any higher and were thrilled with our stay. We would come back here in a heartbeat. Our exemplary host was considerate and attentive to our needs.

At home in the Redwoods

This house is beautiful. Perfect setting. We really enjoyed the private setting. Didn't mind the 10-15 minute drive to Mirada(nearest restaurants/gas station). Perfect location for the Avenue of the Giants. The house is immaculate. Great sitting areas both inside and out. Security fence with private gate. Would absolutely stay here again.

Loved it

The property is exactly as advertised on the listing. It’s very secluded and quiet. It was the perfect place to spend a quiet relaxing weekend with my wife. The redwoods are a 10 minute drive away and we got some great hiking in. There is a town close by but it’s tiny and doesn’t have much for services do pack appropriately. The owner is very nice and responsive to messages. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
