Amazing view of Lake Michigan… you can listen to the waves from the cliff house, the walkway patio, or with your feet in the water. Very private beach which we walked the shoreline every morning. Three bikes and kayaks were all enjoyed. House is clean and nicely appointed. FYI you are pulling up to a garage when you arrive, the house is hidden from view. There is a double ramp to get from garage to the house… both a manual and powered cart are provided to assist in bringing your personals up to the house. Bring firewood for the patio fire pit, McCormick gas station nearby sold bundles. Mac Woods dune rides is about 30 minutes away, well worth the trip we really enjoyed that.

Couple of minor hiccups but otherwise outstanding experience. Home was exceptionally well outfitted with virtually any kitchen and beach supplies one would need for enjoying the experience. Views and privacy are amazing.

Beautiful house and views

This property was amazing! There were so many great amenities: kayaks, beach chairs & towels, sound system throughout the house, well supplied kitchen, movies, games and books. Our favorite spots were the sunroom and the lounge chairs on a deck partway down to the beach. The stairs were a good workout to counteract the snacks we brought. The beach was clean and quiet. This was one of the best properties we have rented!

Lake Michigan Awaits!

This is a beautiful property with stunning views of Lake Michigan from every room, even the toilet closet! There is a long switchback ramp to get up to the house and 100 stairs down to the beach. Owners provide a motorized cart to assist with getting all your stuff up to the house and there are several landings for resting as you go up the staircase. None of this was a problem for us but I think it could be difficult with little kids or anyone who can’t do stairs or a long ramp. The climb to the house is very well worth it because you are rewarded with the absolute best views of the lake and lots of privacy. The beach is gorgeous with soft sand and a gradual grade in the water. You can walk a long way in both directions on the beach. We loved our vacation here!

Beautiful views of lake Michigan

Amazing views! The home was beautuful. There was a view of the lake out every window. We didnt leave all weekend. We watched the deer play in the water every morning. The hike up to the house and down to the beach was definitely a haul but it was worth it. Thank you for having us!

Perfect weekend getaway

My husband, my almost 3 year old, myself and our little dog stayed here for 3 nights. We had the best time and are so glad we chose to stay here! The views are incredible from just about every room in the house, and we got to see two amazing sunsets from the 4 seasons room! We loved walking up and down the beach and playing with the sand toys they provide. The journey up and down the stairs to the beach can be tiring, but totally worth it! If it had been warmer during our trip, I'm sure we would've loved to take advantage of the kayaks and bikes they provide.The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for meals/ snacks, and we took full advantage of the espresso machine!! We were SO excited to make our own espresso each day. The home was very clean and had everything we needed-- tons of fluffy towels, toiletries, bumpers for the bed our toddler slept in, etc. There were also thoughtful touches like nightlights in hallways/ stairs, chargers for phones in every room, helpful labels on things like lightswitches, and so on. We are very happy with our stay and would recommend this vrbo to anyone!

March Spring Break

Thank you to homeowners for sharing this amazing home. The views of the lake from every room are absolutely stunning! We enjoyed the sunsets each night from the porch along with our nightly family card game. Movie night was also a big hit with the wide selection of DVDs. Walks along the quiet beach were fantastic even in the cooler weather. The wagons were appreciated for helping to unload the car to the house. We absolutely loved every minute of our stay here and returned home relaxed and recharged from listening to the waves of the lake. We were continually impressed by each thoughtful detail the homeowners provide for their guests.

Amazing views and seclusion

If you love nature, seclusion and fantastic views of Lake Michigan, then you will love this house/property! Also, we have rented a lot of VRBOs over the years and typically you’re left with like 2 trash bags, one extra roll of TP, and no other house keeping amenities. These hosts have it all for your stay, which is enormously appreciated and goes a long way IMO. We will definitely be back! Only thing I would note is that the walkway is steeper than it appears in pics and could be an issue for the elderly. Thanks for sharing your amazing home!

A view like no other

The view was amazing, We had fog and rain and snow during the trip but it only added to the amazing view you get perched on top of the dune. With the weather we had it felt as if we were over looking the ocean in the Pacific Northwest. This place has it all! What’s in the listing is all there then some! This is our first time traveling not to a family lake house with our 14 month old and we brought everything. After making the first trip up we discovered we could leave the travel chair and gates due to the house being well baby proofed already at least for our son. (We have been told we are very lucky, our first child.) Everything was labeled and had tips for anything you could possible need or think of. The care that has gone into the house is amazing. The ramp was quite intimidating when we arrived. But again plenty of ice cleats in the garage. Never used them before and I ordered my wife and I each a pair before we left. They are great!! My wife and her cousin turned into baristas for the weekend and we had to go get more coffee beans they enjoyed making all different kinds of coffees so much. The ramp up to the house is a decent one but well worth it. After a couple trips it became easy. It was very evident the care and love that goes into this house and will be back if we head to the area again!

Winter getaway

We wanted a quick getaway with snow and sledding. We had no idea how beautiful frozen sunsets over Lake Michigan could be, even though we are from Indianapolos. It was magical.

The view was amazing. We were amazed with how clean the property was. The only bad thing was the smell when you walked in it was awful did get with the home owners right away and they explained it. We thought maybe a dead mouse or something.

Fantastic!!

This was our 2nd November trip to this property, and loved it again. They HAVE EVERYTHING THERE. Toys galore, sand toys, dogs water bowls, booster seat, EVERYTHING. A snow storm came thru, and the owners checked in, with directions if needed. We will be back. Thank you for sharing your home with my family.

Amazing view!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was fully stocked with everything we could possibly want. The view is stunning and worth the hike up the mountain. The walkway was a bit slippery on a frosty morning, but we used the provided "trax" (spiked covers for shoes) and they worked great. The host was having a fridge issue during our stay, but they made sure we had a working fridge and offered clear communications about when we could expect a repair person to arrive.
