Our stay here was excellent. Overall the place is kind of picture perfect. Well decorated, thr kitchen has everything you beed to complete any cooking task. Three TVs, beds all comfortable. We had a great 7 days here. If we had any suggestions, it would be to add a dresser in master bedroom. For us to say we woukd stay here again is really a high complement from us.

Good location, very clean.

Property is located off an alley in a very nice secluded area. It is a little off the beaten path for Muskegon proper or the beach, but great if you on the North side of Muskegon. Everything was as advertised and worked for our quick two day weekend to Shelby for a funeral. Host was responsive and quick with anything that was needed.

Nice Place, Excellent Location

We had a wonderful extended weekend at the Cuckoo's Nest! Perfect location for our hiking at Muskegon State Park and biking on the Muskegon Lakeshore Trail and Fred Meijer Berry Junction Trail. The house was super clean, wonderfully decorated, and had everything we needed. Very quite and secure, and communication with the host was excellent. Several restaurants within 3 minute walk (definitely go to Bernie O's for pizza!). We would definitely stay here again. Oh... The snacks were a wonderful surprise extra - they really hit the spot after our hikes and biking. :)

Hideaway on Oak

Great little bungelow on the north side of Muskegon. Everything we wanted to do was within a 15 minute drive - Lake Michigan, Michigan's Adventure, ice cream shop, and restaurants. Walkable gas station for all last minute needs. Host was very helpful and responsive when contacted.

Loved the Cuckoo Nest!

I loved how clean the house was and the decor was unique and we all loved it (my family and I). The firepit and the extra firewood was also a bonus. The twin beds were very comfortable and I would definately rent again if ever in the area.

Oak Avenue

Little confusing with gps. Took us to the ally but we found the driveway. Should have put in 1909 where the business was and we would have found the driveway sooner. Place was clean. Upstairs was not warm with the portable ac’s running. Was not really there much. Went to Michigan Adventure all day Monday then the Mac Wood’s dune rides on Tuesday in Mear, MI. All in all nice place to stay.

Great getaway for couples or a family.

Host was absolutely great with any and all questions. I had made this booking because I was servicing a wedding nearby that weekend. My fiancé and I booked an extra day to have a calm little getaway for us before a crazy weekend. THIS PLACE FUFILLED THAT AND MORE! We felt away from the busy areas but close enough to so much. Walking trail, gas station, and bar were all within walking distance. The yard was tranquil and firewood was provided. We absolutely adored the antique store. Beds were super comfy. Amazing stay and plan to come back with our kiddos.

Amazing!

I just finished a week at The Nest, and I could not be more satisfied! I was in Muskegon for business, and this is a true home away from home! I found it to be very warm, comfortable and inviting. The house is conveniently located close to numerous restaurants, grocery stores, and anything else you might need or want. The host is very responsive to any questions and also goes above and beyond to ensure any requests are addressed. Amenities are amazing; from the Espresso machine to throw blankets for staying warm and cozy when it is chilly. I will definitely be staying here again!

Comfortable, Private, Good Location

My wife and I stayed here with our 2-year-old and 4-month-old. The toddler enjoyed running around the big yard and playing on the comfortable and private porch (he very much enjoyed the mini cornhole and big Jenga, and we enjoyed the comfy chair). There are at least three restaurants within walking distance, one had live music one night, and the pizza place was great. Several playgrounds within minutes, and a short drive to the state park with a great beach and cool dunes. The beds and other furniture were very comfortable, and the house is nicely furnished and on a large, secluded lot. Highly recommend!
