"Beautiful property. We really enjoyed our stay here, it was so cosy, clean & well looked after. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, they made us feel very at home and were very attentive throughout our time. Great location and a short 5 minute drive to Haworth. "Sehr schönes Hotel. Die Zimmer sind sauber und das Essen ist gut. Das Personal ist freundlich. Die Zeit zum einchecken ist mit 14 Uhr angegeben. Musste diesmal fast noch eine Stunde warten bis aufgemacht wurde. War nicht mein erster Aufenthalt dort und werde auch weiterhin dort übernachten."

Los desayunos magníficos y de calidad insuperable: natural, bueno, abumdante...Hay que valorar muy positivamente que te permiten dejar el coche en un parquing muy cercano durante toda tu estancia. Su personal, una família, intenta ser cercana sin ser pesados, muy bien."

"Lovely little cottage, had everything we needed for our few days and was very clean. A lovely welcome package was waiting for us and it's a great location for seeing Haworth and the Brontë parsonage. Parking at the old hall was perfect as it was a short walk to the cottage. Though quite a few steps which might be difficult for older people. "

"Lovely cooked breakfast, basic cereals & yogurts. Dinner was good, food nicely cooked and presented, staff were very friendly and helpful. Bedroom clean and very comfortable. Happily recommend. "

"Moved from the bull to the shepherds rest as an upgrade prior to arrival. Out of 4 rooms (party of 4), rooms 10 and room 4 no heating. The bull may have better but I’d avoid the shepherds rest. Also none of the TVs worked in any of the 4 rooms and Wi-Fi password not shared. A shame as the rooms were fine even if the showers are a little small. Place was clean and obviously has been invested in. "

"The few lovely staff are coping with a sadly run down building which must have been magnificent in its day. There is no longer a restaurant or bar and the drive has huge poorly filled pot holes. Such a shame"

"This was a very nice clean location. Only down fall was the fact the fan in the room wasn’t that great down the unexpected hot weather, as the room was extremely hot. Other than that it was a great place."

"The exterior of the hotel is lovely but once inside it’s very tired. The carpets are worn and stained. No air con or phone in the room. The tea/coffee was not refilled during the service. There is no lift in the section of hotel I was staying. The windows didn’t open much and the was no fan available. It was convenient for where I wanted to be. The staff I dealt with are very pleasant and there’s a large car park."
