Lovely little home right on the river bank with everything a person would need for a day, weekend, or a couple of weeks. Sandy and Rick were lovely hosts and we had a great time!

We had a lovely stay by the river. There is plenty of room to spread out, a giant couch in the basement to watch movies, and a room upstairs to watch as well. Saw a bald eagle from the deck, and all the stars!

Nice, clean, check in was easy and host were very informative. Deck overlooking the river was beautiful, good location as close to state parks for hiking and House on the rock.

Sandy & Rick are great hosts. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The river view from the dining area was amazing. The photo I am sharing is from the deck, a perfect place for dinner and drinks. We enjoyed our stay!

Weekend get away

Nice location literally right on the WI river. Cleanest VRBO we've ever stayed in. Great food / bars nearby, Lots of indoor space to spread out.

Beautiful and clean cabin that has everything you need. We really enjoyed our short stay here and had a great time watching the birds and fishing from shore. The cabin was comfortable and we loved sitting on the deck, watching the river wildlife and playing cards, Very peaceful and relaxing. Definitely hope to return someday.

Clean and comfy stay with a view

Owners are wonderful and extremely helpful. Place is adorable and well maintained. Within driving distance of many fun attractions like House on the Rock, beautiful hiking, etc. Great experience and lovely folks!

Best Reading Retreat Location

My friends and I were looking for a place to stay to host our first reading retreat and we came across this place and LOVED IT. We had an amazing time, Sandy and Rick were so amazing and made us feel so comfortable and welcome! We are already planning our next weekend getaway to this house!

Sandy was amazingly informative & all around very fun to chat with. We learned so much from her during our initial walkthrough that we were convinced we'd be returning before she left! The property is lovingly maintained and it felt like our every possible need was preemptively addressed by thoughtful furnishings. We spent our mornings & evenings in the fully stocked kitchen cooking meals together, during the day we explored the area, and the nights were spent by the firepit with an amazing view. This little cottage is absolutely magical and my friends and I are very thankful to have shared this experience together

Delightful Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Our house was clean and decorated impeccably well. The view was outstanding and we enjoyed every moment sitting outside on the deck looking at the river. Our host was lovely and very informative on things to do in the area. We will definitely come back!
