Our family of 14 has stayed at this property for the past 6 years. The good news is that we love the location, the pool, the constant breeze, and the view of the marsh from the outside porches. It is our favorite week of the year. The bad news is that the property has deteriorated. One, the refrigerator freezer does not keep ice cream from becoming soft, and the refrigerator door is missing side panels that make two of the shelves unusable - 3-year old issues and previously reported. I recommend that the refrigerator be replaced. Two, there are insufficient lounge chairs on the main porch, and one of the wicker tables on the porch has a broken leg. Three, there were only two reclining chaise lounges by the pool and one was broken. Four, the poolside hose has a substantial leak and needs to be replaced. Five, there was no bedside table next to one of the double beds in the upstairs bedroom facing the marsh - a 5-year problem. This was solved by using one of the main level tv-dinner trays. Six, the mattresses are lumpy, not very comfortable, and need to be replaced. Seven, the dresser in one of the Jack and Jill bedrooms has drawers that come off the tracks - a 3-year old issue. Eight, we found an empty half-gallon bottle of vodka under one of the beds when we were cleaning up on departure day. Every July look forward to our family gathering at Myrtle Beach, but our enthusiasm for License to Chill is certainly not was it once was...
