Our experience at this rental was disappointing, and we left wishing we had booked elsewhere. Most importantly, it wasn’t disclosed that the downstairs is a completely separate unit, only accessible by outdoor stairs. This made it hard for our family to stay connected, especially with a young child, and was a big letdown.The home’s condition was poor—broken closet doors, cabinets that couldn’t open due to poor placement, and sloppy craftsmanship overall. The basement layout was also awkward. One of the “bedrooms” is directly inside the sliding glass entry and overcrowded with furniture. It didn’t feel like a true bedroom at all. Another room (the two twin room) is right off the kitchen and due to furniture layout, you can’t even open the door all the way. We ended up using it as a pantry for snacks and doubled up guests in another room. We also received a violation for using a golf cart with an expired tag, and found a prior guest’s violation left behind—clearly a recurring issue.Parking was another frustration. We had 3 cars and informed the owner beforehand, but weren’t told there weren’t enough spaces. We had to leave one car in overflow parking, only to get a ticket because we didn’t know it needed to be registered with security—info we should have received ahead of time.While the location was fine, the lack of transparency, poor layout, and maintenance issues made this a frustrating stay. We would not rent this property again.

Nice, but not great

The house was in a nice neighborhood, easy to get in and out of the village. Check in was easy.Pools and hot tub were nice as well. The house was more like 2 apartments than one house. They were only connected via stairs that were outdoors. 3 bathrooms for 4 adults for 8 days, and only 3 rolls of TP in the entire house. Only 1 roll of paper towels for the whole house. Golf carts were not plugged in when we got there, and the chargers were left in a plastic bin in the driveway, which had 2" of water in it. We were a little nervous to plug them in to charge after removing them from the water and letting them dry out. There were small maintenance things throughout the property that should be addressed as well. Overall, a good stay, just a few things that we all felt should have been provided and maintained in a better way,.

5 weeks snow-birding

The house was spacious but definitely needs some maintenance. Biggest difficulty was lack of timely responses from owner. Upon arrival our access was not ready, and multiple attempts were required to obtain access for people who visited us. A local property manager for this home would help tremendously.

Holiday vacation

The property was well kept, overall. The boards were loose on outside stairs and owner said they were going to be replaced. In the meantime we had to be careful which steps we stepped on.The beds slept well. Most of the furniture was worn but it sufficed. The TV’s on the first level didn’t work.

Great place and location was fantastic!

This place was anazing. It was perfect from the bedrooms to screened in porch wgere we spent alot of our time. I lived the back patio for early morning quiet sipping on coffee. The beds were comfortably. All furnishings was great. Will rent again for sure.

Very Spacious and close to beach

We absolutely loved the place! Mrs. Wink is very nice and very easy to work with. The property is very spacious with two levels and two golf carts included. There is a full kitchen and living area downstairs, in case some of your party can't take the stairs to get to the top level where there is the fantastic porch area. Each level also has a washer and dryer! The levels do not join from inside, but no problem for my bunch. We would swap keys at night. The village area is really nice too and has pools, bark parks and tennis court. Everyone in the village was very nice. We will definitely rent again!

Nice place to stay

Overall it was a nice place to stay. There was a couple of items that needed addressed so I sent Dorothy a note and she responded right away. First time we’ve had a rental home come with two golf carts and it was so nice to use them to either go to the beach or even out to eat!

Family Friendly Home

This home was great for our family! We had plenty of room but still had our own spaces to relax and enjoy. The access to the beach made it easy to use the golf carts or even just walk to the ocean. Though parking was limited the overflow lot in the Oceanside Complex is a bonus for the extra cars to park. The screened in porch was wonderful for the morning coffee reflection time and for the night time wind down. The home was has a beachy vibe to it and makes you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. Thank you for a fabulous stay! Hopefully more to come!

Great family vacation!

My family and I loved this home! Plenty of room to spread out in including a lovely screened porch where we spent every evening. Dorothy was very easy to communicate with and promptly answered any questions before hand. We had no issues during the week and the home is just like the description. Loved the washing machine/dryer. There were even beach toys/ chairs/ and umbrella. The beach is a very easy walk with a private parking lot for members. We loved using the golf carts to haul our supplies. Great place for kiddos. Everyone is very friendly. I brought the dog and she loved it as well! We definitely would go again.
