Stunning views but very noisy

The views are stunning. But it does need to be updated and carpets etc cleaned. I am aware that it is not on the property owners but know before you go - this condo is on the second floor above the pool and hot tub. Other guests on the property stayed in the hot tub etc until after 11pm. Not too late I know but we preferred to wake early and go to the beach before it was too hot. The people talking could be heard clearly in the main bedroom. That combined with the fireworks going of every night, and loud music in the morning made for a far from peaceful vacation. The property has a no fireworks policy and even though security moved them from in front of the apartment block they could still be heard clearly as the people would move 10 steps down. Check-in is about a 40 minute process as there was a long line. Ensure all your paperwork is signed and completed. When you get to the desk it takes maybe 5 minutes. However we were given incorrect parking pass. Not on us. So got a parking violation. Had to go and see the property manager who gave another one, once again incorrect resulting in second parking violation. Make sure you get correct one with correct property number. The appliances are new. The pool, elevator etc is cleaned daily. Which is really nice.

Unit 203 review for 2024

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great!! Unit was clean and well furnished with just about everything you needed. Kitchen was remodeled and looked fantastic, even had a new coffee maker. Pleased enough that we booked the same 2 weeks for 2025. Just a few things that would make the unit PERFECT. Two recliners in living room need to be replaced-old stained and showing their age, new balcony chairs would be nice. Current vinyl strapped chairs are very old and very stained. Mattress in master bedroom is due for replacement, sags a bit where you lay and forms a hump in the middle. Handle on interior side of sliding door needs repairs to keep it tight to door and a small handle on the exterior would make it a lot easier to operate due to effects of ocean air to the door in general. The small slide handle is very difficult especially for seniors. Carpet was clean and looked a lot better than last year. Do not hesitant to rent this unit, you will be happy especial if previous mentioned updates are made. Love the location of OOP and the unit. PS- if cleaning service is responsible for cleaning exterior glass of balcony, they need to do better. Realize effects of ocean air but a little time and effort like I put into it would make a more inviting viewing of the ocean front.

Amazing views, fantastic safety features and easy access to the beach. The condo was clean, and ready for us a little before the 4:00 check in and that was such a welcome thing . This was our second stay at One Ocean Place and we have used Garden City Realty several times. I highly recommend you give both a try to make your stay the best it can be.

The master bath would be better with an updated shower. I also would prefer all floors without carpet. But you couldn't beat the views. Can sit in the living room and feel like you're at the beach. Absolutely stunning views!

The furniture in the living room, as well as the carpeting needs to be replaced, as they are very dated and worn. The location is perfect and the view of the ocean from the condo is why we keep coming back to this condo complex.

Balcony furniture needs to be upgraded, very 60's.Coffee maker could be upgraded, looks worn out and could get a combo coffee maker/ Keurig maker. L.R. chairs are in need of replacement. Look old.

Quick Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This getaway was more spur-of-the-moment for us. The unit was available and looked clean and ready for our stay. We have stayed at OOP for many years in other units, some through Garden City Realty, and we felt good about this unit as well. It turns out that this unit was nice and clean and homey. The only issues we had were that the chairs in the common area (seen in picture) were a bit worn from use. The bed was fairly comfortable but could use a nice, thick topper if not a whole new set of mattresses. A Keurig would have been nice. We LOVED the blinds in the common area! We decided from this trip that we much prefer the south tower as this was our first stay in the north tower. Washer and dryer were small and older, non HE. Overall, a pleasing, restful stay.

October Beach Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hurricane Ian made significant changes to the beach and the sea. The beach without dunes was much flatter and the bottom of the sea was quite turbulent. Our grandsons enjoyed fishing and making sand castles and volcanoes, and watched for the high tides to remove their creations. The temperature was cooler than in the past and the fish appear to have gone elsewhere. We left relaxed and glad for the time away after the past two years.

I definitly wiil use Garden City Reality for our next vacation.Garden City Beach is the best. Perfect location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was very clean. Furniture was a little dated but still comfortable and did I mention clean? Washer and dryer were very small so don’t expect to wash a big load. Parking was very tight. This unit is right in front of the elevator which worked well for us because my mom uses a walker. However, she stayed in the 2nd bedroom and said the hallway light was very bright inside the room. They had great room darkening shades on the beach side. It might be a good idea to get some curtains for that room as well. All in all a lovely stay and would definitely rent again!

It is right next to the top level of the garage so easy to unload luggage, groceries. We did have a problem with the sink leaking, someone came to fix it as soon as we called. We’ll be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We like the location and the condo this is our second year here. We have already reserved next year. This year we had some issues. The Wi-Fi did not work and none of the trouble shooting worked. The door lock was also not working properly. We had to leave the room unlocked several times due to the lock not engaging. Also we noticed some of the units had the beach chairs and umbrellas included with the room. This would be a nice amenity to have and one less thing the guest have to worry about while on vacation.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo room itself was spotless and very nice. The carpets outside of the rooms (by elevators) were NASTY. The maintenance folks kept the pool area clean. The check in/out process - there was no personality at all. We left one day early,and they did not even ask why. The ramps from the parking lot to the hallways were very small - hard for a scooter to pass through, a wheelchair would not pass through. Wish the chairs by the pool would sit all the way up, but they were still nice. Our tv in the living room broke twice, they finally just brought us another one (much smaller one). One of the toilets needed fixed at one point as well. When maintenance was called, they were there quickly with a smile. Parking was tough. We just had a SUV but it seemed like a bus when trying to park.
