Beautiful 12th floor condo with ocean views

Loved the views and the condo was very spacious three bedrooms and three bathrooms We will rent the same unit again Very close to Brookgreen Gardens and Huntington State Park which we loved.

Nice Location but lose the fireworks

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Were on the 12th floor of One Ocean Place. Nice room and ocean view. However, we were Plagued by nightly fireworks exploding right outside our balcony until midnight or so. Fireworks are prohibited but no one was enforcing this. Washer very slow and noisy.

With a very hectic working schedule, we decided we needed some serious R&R. We booked this property, and it was just what we needed. Nicely furnished, a beautiful view of the coast, and located by everything we wanted to do. We will be back!

The kitchen is modern and well appointed and the decor is very nice. Only complain is that the shower head in the master bath needs replacing. But we will be sure to stay here again. We love it!

Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Would rent this unit again. Enjoyed the fireworks too! We were very pleasantly surprised how fast the check in and check out were. Beach was well looked after.

Sheets for twin beds need to be deep pocket for the bottom as it is very hard to use regular ones n these beds. Everything else has been taken care of. Thank you Garden City Realty.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Room 1207,overall experience was good. We asked for the Linen Service which was ample,good pre-wrapped. We asked for the top-of-bed to be cleaned and it was Monday before it arrived. We had about 10 Roach/Palmetto bugs. Called GC Realty and they came out ASAP and sprayed and we saw no more. Overall though,Parking-Good, Elevator-Good,Grounds,Pool-Good, Room-Good, Kitchen,Utensils,Appliances-Good, Bathrooms-Good,View-Good, WIfi-Good, Cleanliness-Good, Security-Good. Great View for Firework observation almost every night. We hardly left the Grounds. We had 3 Families and we had a great time and would go back to this unit.

Garden City Reality is easy to deal with and very helpful to all our needs especially Jackie Alston and Patricia Reed, and the housekeeping department.

The weather could have been a little warmer but guess you can't control that. Since we are here that long, a hand mixer would be nice. The last two years we were here there was one, but it is not here this year. Also a four slice toaster would make breakfast a lot easier. Other than those two things, everything is perfect.

Having two rental properties myself, I could tell that the owner had put a lot of work & effort into providing a nice rental property. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed that the carpet & furniture was dirty. In the bedroom that was a two foot sq. area at the foot of the bed that was stained. In the living room, it appeared that someone had continually dripped soft drink or coffee over the carpet. No dirt was not embedded & I removed most with some form carpet cleaner. My point is that the cleaning service should have done this. (The owner deserves better.) Our stay was great & the condo is in a great location. The rental management would have gotten a higher sore but, one day the rental management had given a couple a handful of keys to look at condos & our condo was one of those. No one wants someone to walk in. Bad mistake on the Rental Management part. In summary, its time to clean the carpet & furniture.

2013 vacation One Ocean Place

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: this will sound negative but it's not meant that way. Overall the stay was great. Been doing this for 15 years plus. But every year it changes and not for the better. I used to be able to book 8 nights, now I can't. We used to get daily maid service, then they'd come by daily with towels, then towels downstairs, now wash your own towels, buy your own toilet paper, dish soap etc etc. Pay for linen service? Was I going to bring my blankets on the plane? I love that place. I'll keep coming back as long as I'm blessed enough to do so. But the negative changes every year are just a bit sad.

We had a couple of problems with the sink in the kitchen which were fixed immediately through Garden City Realty. I forgot to mention last month that the twin fitted sheets will not fit the beds. They brought us flat sheets right away to fold under but it would be nice to have the deep pocket ones to fit the beds properly. Mattresses are now bigger and need deep pocket sheets. As we have said before this is our home away from home to stay out of the snow and hope to keep coming back here.

The views were wonderful expecially the sun rise in the mornings. The only complaint would be the bed pillows should be replaced!! Spoiled Rotten!

The furniture was in good condition and the large t.v. in the livingroom was a nice surprise! I was happy to see that it was CLEAN upon arrival.This unit could use more silverware though. Also, it was stocked with glass cups but we needed plastic for the children & use at the pool before we went shopping. Not a big deal, but we purchased some to leave behind. It would be helpful if there was at least 1 roll of toilet paper in the condo when you first arrive. With that being said, this was the best condo I've stayed in while on vacation. My grandchildren exploded with excitement when they saw the view from the livingroom. I felt like I was on a ship! We all enjoyed the pool & hot tub. I felt like I was "spoiled rotten" with the awesome surroundings inside and out. I would love to rent this unit again next year!
