The unit was very clean and well equipped. There are two free piers close by. The location was nice if you want a relaxing getaway with the beach to yourself. Very pleased with our stay. We had the fireplace feature on every night. It is so beautiful.

We were not disappointed with The Salty Mermaid. The unit was very clean and updated. The view was amazing and easy access to the beach. Communication with the host was excellent. Highly recommend this unit and we will be back!

Perfect place for a beach getaway.

We had a fantastic stay at this beachside condo! The location couldn’t have been better—just steps from the sand with easy access from the back of the unit, and a quick walk to the pool as well. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, which made meals a breeze. One of our favorite features was the porch—it was the perfect spot to start the day with coffee and wind down in the evening with a cocktail. The owners went above and beyond by providing a closet full of beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, and even boogie boards for the kids and adults :) , which made our stay even more enjoyable. A wonderful spot for families looking for a relaxing and convenient beach get away.

Great family vacation!

We were able to get away for a short break with our son and daughter in law and the Salty Mermaid fit the bill! The hosts were easy to contact, especially when we had a couple of questions come up. It is located right on the beach with terrific access. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the dolphins go by! Enjoyed our stay!

Disrespectful tenants

Stay was fine until final 2 evenings. The walls are very thin and noise can be heard from main front hallway and overhead. Unfortunately several families moved in and let the children run wild over every floor. I had to leave much earlier than expected as the parents seemed hostile when confronted.

Wonderful time!

We have stayed in several condos at this complex. This one has been beautifully updated, and we had a wonderful experience! You cannot beat being steps away from the beach with a great pool and hot tub to enjoy. Highly recommend this property!!

A pleasant long weekend

This is a nice place to stay. The excellent location made it very easy to get to the places we wanted to visit. The paint and floors seem new. All fixtures and appliances worked, the kitchen was well stocked.

Better than expected!

You always take a chance when you book a place where you’ve never been, but the Salty Mermaid didn’t disappoint. Amazing view, very tasteful accessories, made great use of the space. We’ve booked for next year!

Beautiful Condo with amazing view!

This was our first time staying in this area and we absolutely loved the condo! Porch is so nice and seems private even is the busy area. Everything is updated and the owners were very quick to answer a question I had while staying there. We would absolutely book again if we come back to this area!

We had a great time and looking forward to going back soon! The beach access from the balcony is unparalleled along the grand strand and the condo is well appointed. The iced coffee, amazing ocean views and plush king bed made it hard to leave. Just book it!

This is a very nice waterfront condo in a great location. Pictures do represent the condo well. And, the condo owner was a pleasure to work with, very responsive and very professional. We’d definitely consider booking this condo again.
