Bad start because we arrived to an obviously uncleaned house. We called Housekeeping and they sent someone over within an hour or so. This fabulous lady, Lynda, could tell when she walked in the door that this house had NOT been cleaned. She cleaned everything from top to bottom. She also noted some maintenance issues that were handled the very next day. When we called Sunday morning (we arrived late Saturday) regarding the pool being unclean/cloudy, we were told the company who handles pool service were in church and usually didn't service on Sundays, but they would try to get them. I did a bit of work on cleaning it and it cleared up so by Sunday afternoon my kids could swim in it. So Saturday/Sunday were a bit of a rough start. That being said..all issues were handled in a professional manner. Garden City Realty recognized our complaints and responded promptly, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, our stay was great! The grill area was very nice! The linen service had delivered our linens on time. Check-in went without a hitch. The general condition of the property was fine. Nice seating. Nice pool area with beautiful flowers and greenery. 2 Fridges is a MUST for large groups! All the cooking utensils/pots/pans/silverware etc we could ever need. I have stayed at this property in the past and would stay again in the future. Our issues I believe were isolated and hopefully the next group came in to a clean, cozy home for the week!
