Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed out stay at MQ108. The view of the channel and marsh area were terrific. It was very clean and comfortable. All the appliances you need and the linens made for a great stay as well. This unit also has a covered parking spot this with the elevator made unpacking and packing car a snap. There is beach access right across the street.

Nice visit to Garden City

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As usual, our visit to Garden City was very nice and comfortable. This unit had everything we needed for a pleasant Thanksgiving getaway. We simply walked less than a block for Thanksgiving dinner at Gulfstream Cafe. However, immediate attention should be given to the very slippery bathtub floors. Also, the people in the unit next door locked themselves out late one evening and spent quite a while beating and kicking the door, which resulted in the two dogs inside being terrified. The dogs had already been barking while they were away. Unit 108 is very clean and spacious and Marlin Quay is safe and access is simple.

Building exterior is becoming rundown looking

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our fifth stay at Marlin Quay, last time 3 yrs. ago and our first in unit 108. Until this trip we had always enjoyed our stay. On this trip we found the windows were dirty and the exterior needed washing in places. The exterior around the elevators needed painting. The outdoor carpet was in terrible shape but possibly being replaced since the carpet on the small porch was completely removed. Carpet inside this unit was worn. The grass, flowers and shrubs looked well kept as we have always found to be the case.

Family Trip 2020 at Marlin Quay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our rental was very nice and Garden City Realty staff was very willing to assist with any issues/concerns. The location couldn’t have been better. Our balcony overlooked the marina and my kids loved watching the boats come and go. And being across the street from the ocean wasn’t difficult since there is a public beach access/walkway right across from the property. I didn’t give 5 stars for “general condition” and “overall stay” because our air conditioner unit wasn’t working properly, however several people were sent to look and work on it and also because the water pressure wasn’t the best but again several people came out to work on it. I look toward to our trip next year at the same property!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed for the month of February 2020 and it's the second time we've rented the property. It's a great condo in a perfect location. Lot's of space and all the amenities you need. But it's getting due for an update. Needs paint, carpet, tile, furniture. Everything is comfortable and functional, but just getting a bit worn and dated. Still probably better than the majority of rental properties.

The property is nicely furnished and extremely well stocked with all the accessories you'll ever need. The unit is relatively clean and we love the location. Will definitely stay here again.

Owner had labeled remotes, displayed important numbers and information which was extremely helpful. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit 108 at Marlin Quay is exceptionally nice. Great view and amenities on the property. However, I was disappointed in the Garden City Realty staff. First, I wasn’t notified prior to arrival that there would be roof construction on the property that started promptly at 7am. Second, the washing machine in the unit did not work. After notifying Garden City, there were no proactive communications regarding the issue which was never resolved during my stay. I would have liked to hear from Garden City on plans to repair, or at least provide some accommodations such as extra towels, etc. The lack of communication and urgency regarding the issue was frustrating.
