And just a few steps in the other direction is the Sand and Surf. My young Grandsons really enjoyed it as well as us Big Kids. 😎😎. Overall a great place to enjoy family and friends.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home needs some updating, there's no water pressure in the master bath, sink clogged if you leave the little bit of water running. The 4th bedroom was not cleaned, and no linens were left for the bed. It was pricey for the condition of home but thought it would be easier with the boat landing for my husband, but you can only put in the boat and take out the boat on high tide.

Reviewer Comments: The Corley Family has stayed at Inlet Joy for many years and have loved it. For the last 5 years we have stayed 2 consecutive weeks. When I called to reserve our 2 weeks go next year, we were told that we could only have one of the weeks. With much disappointment from our family, we hav had to leave Garden City Realty and move on to a new chapter in our life 🙁 Also the grass was knee high when we arrived and still had not been cut when we left after our 2 week stay.

The dock and boat ramp are a plus. However, the covered dock could use some furniture. The house was not very clean and needs updated stove/oven. There was no light in the kitchen or in the showers. The outside shower was filthy and needs upgrades.

The location is perfect being on the inlet and also directly across the street from the ocean. The house has everything we need. Fishing is great with the covered dock and the porch sitting (front and back) is wonderful as well. Can’t wait to be back down next year.

Reviewer Comments: The house is cute and the boat dock and slip are very nice and convenient, however the palm tree makes it difficult when hauling a boat. There has been water leaks in the 2nd bathroom which made us worry durning our stay. The lawn had not been mowed in weeks which was not very aesthetically pleasing.

Vacation 2017 at Inlet Joy in Garden City SC

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Inlet Joy is the perfect location to enjoy both the creek and ocean. This home is very comfortable and makes for a memorable vacation. The only suggestions that I would make is to have a new mattress on the bed in the master bedroom. I saw a few roaches but some of them were dead which means that the home had been sprayed for pest control. The ceiling fans needed to be cleaned and there was no stopper for the kitchen sink. But regardless of these small suggestions, we had a wonderful week at the Inlet Joy and the staff at Garden City Realty goes over and above to make your stay pleasant. I have rented this home for two years, will probably do so again and would recommend it to anyone.
