We enjoyed our stay at this house. The house was lovely and the outdoor space was terrific. We found the beds to be very comfortable. My one concern is that upon arrival the cleaning crew had already finished, but the reality company wouldn’t let us into the property because we were waiting on it to be “inspected”. We had been traveling all day and had small children that needed to use the bathroom. I can understand not getting in the cleaners way but that wasn’t the case. When the inspector did show up he said to us “do you really need me to inspect it?” Which honestly, no we didn’t but we had been waiting about 30 minutes at that point. When I spoke to the reality company on the phone prior to the inspector showing up to see if there was anyway to get inside just to use the bathroom they were unhelpful. To be clear this all took place between 3:30-4:00pm. We didn’t show up hours before check in. My best advice - don’t show up even a little before check-in because you will just be sitting outside.

Spring break 2025

We visited this house for our son's senior spring break in 2025 and enjoyed the location, which is one of our favorites. The house was spacious and well-stocked with essentials. However, we encountered a few issues. The pool wasn't heated, and two steps on the back porch kept breaking due to poor wood quality. We contacted maintenance twice, and they resolved the step issue. Unfortunately, the dishwasher wasn't functional, so we had to wash dishes by hand. Additionally, the dryer left burn marks on clothes, so we stopped using the washer and dryer altogether. Despite these issues, we appreciated the location and size of the house.

There was plenty to do in the surrounding area to keep us occupied on the rainy days. We would highly recommend this to others.

Reviewer Comments: WE LOVED BEACH WAS VERY SPACIOUS AND THE POOL WAS AWESOME.I LOVED THE VIEW OF THE OCEAN FROM THE HOUSE.THE ONLY THING IWOULD RECOMMEND IS A NEW MATTRESS FOR THE ROOM UPSTAIRS ON THE RIGHT.ALSO A BIGGER GRILL TO USE,BUT OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS A GREAT TIME BEING WITH FAMILY,I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOME AND RENTING FROM GARDEN CITY,A GREAT STAFF! SEE YA NEXT YEAR :)

Loved Beach Lovers!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We travelled with our 2 young kids, aged 3 and 5. Along with another family and their 2 kids, aged 5 and 6. We found the house absolutely perfect for us. The layout was great, we felt like we had our own personal space if we wanted it, and we were not living on top of each other. The pool was excellent, the kids could stay in it all day, but personally I would have liked it a little warmer temperature. We brought the kids bikes, and the large driveway was a great place to for them to ride, while we sat on the patio and enjoyed our time as well! The beach was nice and close and very private. We walked down the beach to the pier, finding lots of shells along the way. Once we got there, we saw a man catch a baby shark, he was very nice showing it to the kids.That was a highlight for sure! There was a nice pizza place down the road that we walked to one night for supper, we mostly drove into myrtle beach for the evenings, which was a 20 min. drive. Overall, we had a great time and would stay at Beach Lovers again!

Great Stay!

Wow, what a great place to stay on my family vacation! The house, the pool, close to the Garden City pier, shopping, not to mention all the great restaurants, how could my family ask for anything more? We will be back!

It could use a new carpet, some more light bulbs, & minor updates. I think the fridge leaks too. We have stayed there before and will stay there again.
