Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was very welcoming. Was surprised by the size of the cockroaches. I saw a note that the unit gets sprayed, but it may need to be increased. We were concerned when your office asked if we were staying for another week after leaving on Saturday. Seems someone was in the unit when your cleaners came saying they were staying for another week.

Reviewer Comments: The Beach House 109 was great as usual. my comments have no bearing on the condo.1.both batroom sinks were difficult to get warm water. 2.Towel bar at in master bath comes free easily.3.Garbage disposal was smelled terrible as we arrived. We had to use baking soda to correct.4.Condo had a lot of pesky flies. Never seen this problem at the Beach House.5. Finally, We did not have a packet at Condo when we arrived. I called and was told the inspector had not been there yet and he would bring when he came. he did not come on Sat or Sun. and as a result i didnot have a parking pass. Mon. AM my car had a Warning card saying my car would be towed. I was furioous as this was of not my doing. I called once again and it was delived while we were out to breakfast. This SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED. This is strickly on your watch.

Reviewer Comments: We've rented through Garden City Realty a few times and they are very professional, responsive and very helpful, this time was no exception. Our first day there, the handle on the outer storm door broke and someone from maintenance was there to fix it within 24 hours. The location of this unit was wonderful! Sitting on the balcony is like being right on the beach. It is right next to beach access, parking and a shower for your sandy feet.The kitchen has everything you need for meal prep and cooking (and then some!)The decor is bright and cheery and the unit was spotless.Beach House is our favorite property in Garden City!

We would have preferred to use our own linens, the all white were considerably harder to dry before storing for the maid service.

I would suggest a table on the balcony and Door Lock, Digital Keypad (digital lock is very helpful so we do not worry if we forgot the key inside or if we lost the key at the beach) otherwise the place was great and we had a great time.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit was clean with a well equipped Kitchen. Plenty of Sheets and Towels. Small Bedroom was dark all the time and would be better with a Ceiling light rather than a Pole lamp. Corridor could have been cleaned better (Property responsibility). Had trouble with door locks and when I reported it Maintenance (Chris O'Neal) came very quickly and installed new locks. This was our third trip to this development and would definitely return to a previous unit.

Only short distance from markets, pharmacies and many restaurants. Kitchen well stocked with anything you need to make your favorite meal.

The owner always tries to update often.We treat this property just as we do our own Home. There are a few damages that we notice each year and take pictures of same, we strive to leave the property cleaner than we found it. Thanks to Joan for allowing us to stay in her lovely home.

Weather was incredible for late October and we really enjoy the charm of Beach House 109 and the amenities of the complex in general.

Garden city rental

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Was charged a $25 late fee for linen. I inadvertently checked 'no' for the $100 linen service. I noticed the charge was not on my invoice. When I called to inquire, I was told there would be a $25 late fee for adding linen, even though this was 5days before our check in date. The condo is in desperate need of a real cleaning. Was afraid to turn the ceiling fan on due to the amount of dust, grime on the blades. One of the bed quilts had a bunch of sand on top. The walls are in desperate need of wiping down. I have never given a bad review but it seems this is basic courtesy for people giving a significant amount of money to rent this condo.
