Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First let me say that the location of this unit is fantastic! Great view of the ocean and it’s just steps away. We were disappointed in the overall cleanliness. The unit felt like it had not been occupied for awhile. The vents were dirty as were the deck furniture and windows. Although the unit advertised a disposal there was a sign taped to the wall asking that we not put potato skins, broccoli etc etc in it. Essentially there is a disposal in name only. To make matters worse there was a bucket placed under the disposal below the sink...didn’t exactly inspire our confidence. The a/c did not work. Fortunately the weather was cool enough that we did not need it but when we did it was awol. The property management was very responsive but had to rely on the owner’s favored contractor. The a/c unit was totally replaced the last day of our two weeks stay. I could go on but you get the drift. To summarize, it is obvious the owner doesn’t stay in this unit.

The view to the beach was wonderful and I had wonderful weather while was there as well.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Really liked this unit. We normally stay in one of the high rise condos. Not anymore, this was way better. We had one issue where the kitchen drain started leaking very bad. Called maintenance and they were there in 1/2 hour. Great response. Would definitely stay there again.

Mattress was so uncomfortable I ended up on the couch. I would stay here again if it had better mattresses.

Unfortunately, there was a garbage disposal backup at the beginning of our stay and garden city maintenance could not take care of it and they finally got a plumber after the kitchen flooded. We had to request housekeeping to clean up the mess. The master bed was hard as a rock. We had to sleep in the smaller bed in 2nd bedroom. This unit is also very very damp. It definitely needs a dehumidifier. But all in all it's a very nice place. Had everything we needed and it has the best beach access.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great condo with amazing view and location. We stayed here for five nights and were very comfortable and had no issues. The condo is nicely decorated and had a very well stocked kitchen. Actually one of the best stocked kitchen I have had the pleasure to stay in. The beds were very comfortable and the whole condo area is very quiet and peaceful. Very pleased with this day will be back.

Reviewer Comments: this was our 4th year in Garden City I recommend it. only drawback was the parking. we have never had any problem with parking before and we have always taken two carsWe got a $25. ticket which said we could pay it online but when we tried to pay it online it had not been turned in yet. we haven't heard anything yet so hoping we don't get some kind of a stupid penalty. by the way we mailed it

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had trouble with internet service for the first 2 days but the rental agency finally got it straightened out. This was on a beautiful section of the beach. During May there were not any crowds on the beach, but this happened to be bike week and there were crowded roads and restaurants. I would stay in this unit again. However, the living room floor seemed to slant toward the deck. I think the unit should provide lounge chairs for the pool. There were some small repairs needed but nothing major.

Reviewer Comments: Great layout of condo- good furnishings- great televisions - great view- a little close to the pool in terms of privacy but good for keeping an eye on your own family. Great response by maintenance for broken air conditioner- not great response by realty office- told me I was in the south and shouldn't expect the inside temp to be less than 82 with the heat- after insisting the maintenance team was very responsive! Some bugs in condo. Left our electric toothbrush and called housekeeping to retrieve but never returned my call.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the only issue was that the previous renter must have chain smoked in the condo the entire week they were there. The smell of smoke was extremely strong. We aired out andsprayed with Febreeze as much as we could but the odor lingered all week.

WONDERFUL VACATION AT THE BEACH WITH MY FAMILY

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first family vacation and I could not have ask for a better place to stay. We were there for 7 days in August 2011 and we were very happy with the unit (104) we stayed at. It was very clean, well kept, and up to date. We are already talking about coming back next year and we plan on staying at the same place. Great view of the beach and great location! The pool was also very clean and well kept! Can't wait until next summer!
