"In summary - quiet, rural, friendly. Beautifully decorated, comfy and warm room part of, but separate from, the main house. Lots of well behaved dogs, chooks, guinea fowl, cats to share the stay with. Bonus was the cooked breakfast! Axedale is on the rail bike trail and Bendigo has so much to offer!"

"Chris is the most wonderful hostess. We travelled with a dog reactive German Shepherd and Chris made us feel welcome but ensuring our dog's interactions with other dogs were kept to a minimum. The accomodation is lovely and i would have loved to stay longer (i will do so in the future).Our dog was secure, she was allowed inside and we had everything we needed.Chris's homecooked breakfast was 10/10!
