Beautiful cabin, beautiful view, close to the things we wanted to do. A storm knocked out power to the cabin for a few hours one evening and we contacted the host for advice. Her response was appreciated and she seemed to truly have concern for us. She even called me the next day to check on us.

Beautiful Cabin

This cabin was really beautiful. The views very gorgeous. Bedrooms were very spacious. Loved all the different deck areas for large families. The hill coming up to the cabin was very steep, glad for 4-wheel drive. Our family had a really nice time.

We can’t wait to visit again.

I can’t say enough great things about this cabin and our stay. Our check in/out process was easy, property manager was awesome and the cabin is absolutely beautifully decorated and well stocked with everything you may need. The only thing is the wifi isn’t great BUT we did find the DVD’s in the drawers of the coffee table on the main floor so it worked out . I also addressed a few things with the property manager and I’m sure they wont be an issue moving forward. I really hope our group is able to make it out here again next year! Thank you for everything (:

Perfect getaway!

We had a wonderful long weekend at Tranquility Perch. The listing looked great but we were very pleased to arrive and find the property even better than we expected. The cabin was very well stocked and we found the appliances and utensils to be in great shape; no searching for a sharp knife or grill tongs! We can’t say enough great things about this cabin, the location, and the host’s attention to detail!

Stunning Property & Views

We loved our stay. The house is amazing. Hot tub sunsets were the best. The game room provided lots of entertainment. Internet is spotty but you can get it working. The decor, just everything was thought about down to the detail. Thank you for having us.

Tranquility Perch

We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful cabin. Everything was exactly like the photos. Plenty of room, very clean and had everything we needed and then some. We especially loved the view and the hot tub. I am very particular when it comes to where I will stay and this cabin definitely fit the bill.

Incredible Experience

Thankful we got the opportunity to stay here. Absolutely beautiful cabin. We were in awe as soon as we stepped in. The attention to detail was extremely appreciated. The view from the porch is breathtaking!!!! Planning on staying here again. :)

Amazing!

We had the best time staying at your house! The views were breathtaking and the house was amazing. We had some rainy days and still never got bored with all that the house had to offer! We even extended our stay one more night because we were not ready to leave. We are looking forward to staying again! Thank you so much for everything.

Truly the best of the best. Amazing views, secluded, quiet. This home has all the bells and whistles

Plenty of space for everyone inside and outdoors. Tons of amenities for the adults and the kiddos. Everything is at your fingertips. Once you enter this home you'll truly never want to leave. Made a ton of memories and we will definitely be back to make more.

Wonderfully appointed home

This house was wonderful. They thought of everything you might want or need while on vacation. Well equipped kitchen, tons of games, ice machine, paper cups, paper towels, detergent, extra towels, they really thought of it all and to top it off the views are amazing. We will book this house again! Beware of the drive up to the house. It's steep and not paved but so worth the effort.

Nearly perfect base venue for nearby activities

This was a great setting for four guys sport motorcycling the great roads around the Murphy area (e.g., US 129 Deals Gap Tail of the Dragon). We used it as a base for our moto tours and a great place to relax together in the evenings. The cabin has great amenities for our purpose. Some highlights: - Modern and fully-functional kitchen. It’s new refrigerator has a working icemaker, which seems rare these days. - Great porch with awesome view, seating, hot tub, grill, etc. - Game room with pool table, darts, shuffleboard. - Good smart TVs. A lowlight was the internet service. I asked before booking whether the house had good internet. The answer was yes; no one has ever complained. Well, here’s a complain. It has point-to-point microwave internet service that is abysmal. In the morning I could bare watch a YouTube. It was worse in the evening. If you hope to watch streaming services like Netflix, forget it. I tested the performance with speedtest.net and the results were by far the worst I’ve seen. This home should subscribe to Musk’s new Starlink internet. Really. Also note that you need to travel almost a mile up a hilly gravel road. We did this on sport bikes, which is not something they are designed for. I don’t envy less skilled riders on bikes such as huge touring Harleys. Finally, The linens are generally good, but you may want to bring your own pillows. I did. They didn’t provide bar soap. With the slight caveats, this was a spectacular house and perfect for our needs.
