What an amazing cabin!

Truly spectacular views and very private. The cabin is very spacious and has an awesome downstairs’ game room. We felt this cabin was perfect for us and we plan on returning.

Amazing Christmas Getaway

My family and I were looking for a place in the mountains where we could feel secluded, but also have amazing views. This house provided just that! The last third of the mile to the house is on an incline, and the house is at the end of that road. This made for really amazing and quiet morning walks. We put my truck in four wheel drive low just to be on the safe side. The road in some parts is paved, some gravel, and some covered and fallen leaves. We didn't have any trouble driving. The circular driveway is super helpful to get into and off the property.Check in was easy. The management company was very communicative and even left us a welcome basket which was super sweet. They kindly set up a Christmas tree and had some Christmas lighting outside as well. We are a family of four with two large teenage boys, so the house was spacious enough for all of us. The downstairs game room was a great place to hang out as a family. The house is about 10 to 15 minutes from downtown Murphy. Just close enough and just far enough away. It was really the perfect location for us and what we were looking for.We hope to go back, and feel lucky to have experienced such a serene place for our Christmas vacation.

Awesome rural cabin

This was not the original cabin we had booked however this was exactly the type of cabin we wanted for our vacation. There were no neighbors in sight and spectacular Mountain View’s. We wished there was a fire pit or a fireplace on the porch. There’s no tv on the main floor and on the lower level there’s no fridge so lots of trips up and down the stairs. Directions were also a bit vague. At one point the pavement ends and turns to dirt and grass in what looks like a forest trail. From there it’s a one lane road up the mountain in which you need to put the vehicle in low. If driving country roads on a steep incline is not something you are comfortable with then this would not be a cabin I would recommend. If you are comfortable this rural mountain cabin is a gem

Perfect Getaway

We have stayed here before and was just as happy this time too! We were delighted to catch a glimpse of fireflies at night. Wish we could bottle up the smell of the fresh mountain air and bring it back home. Grateful this little slice of heaven is here to enjoy. Looking forward to another stay.

Heaven on Earth!

This property was everything we hoped for and more for our Christmas getaway. We enjoyed the amazing sunrises and sunsets(both viewable at the cabin). The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The cabin was extremely clean and tidy. There were many special touches throughout the cabin including a welcome basket that was extremely thoughtful. They had a Christmas tree up for us as well which was not expected but extremely appreciated. The dog fence area was a huge plus because our dogs do not like to go to the bathroom on a leash. The hot tub was an added plus along with all of the games downstairs including a poker table with chips and cards there as well. We enjoyed a glass of wine out on the hammock on the third balcony every night. So relaxing and enjoyable. They didn’t miss a beat with this set up and we will be back!

Gem in the clouds - Beautiful cabin!

We have enjoyed the blue view mountain cabin in Murphy, NC 3 times now! We love it! The cabin is a gem in the clouds. The views are amazing and we love the three levels of the cabin. The picnic table was new this time and the dog pen/run. The grill area was very nice as well. We love the special touches throughout the cabin and the fresh flowers were a great touch. It is very clean and the appliances work well. We enjoyed the hot tub! The Christmas tree over the mountains was gorgeous! Our dog loves it here. She enjoys watching for birds and deer on the 3rd level patio. Thank you again for sharing this little piece of heaven

This place was absolutely amazing, the photos don’t do justice for the view that you will get from this property! The property manager was very accommodating and the property was nice and clean - my wife and I loved this property and will definitely be back!

It’s a beautiful cabin! The view is absolutely amazing!

We enjoyed our stay so much at this cabin! We rent a lot of cabins throughout each year for our family and friends. This cabin was especially nice plenty of room for us to spread out, lots of laughs and memories were had…. We rented it in March and then in November 2021. Again it is a beautiful cabin the only downfall is the drive trying to get to the cabin. It’s a very difficult drive. If you live in the mountains like we do and you’re used to that terrain you won’t have a issue, But if you’re a city slicker it’s going to be an issue. Happy cabin staying ☺️

Quite the Gem

Great experience! Cabin was clean and in great condition. Beautiful mountain view. Hot tub, fireplace, and TV were all easy to use, well-stocked kitchen, plenty of room, but still cozy. Perfect place for a girls' weekend with baby in tow -- though I will likely book the same cabin for a family trip this winter!

Spectacular Views

We have stayed at Blue View Mountain in the past and so enjoyed it that we rented it again. The view is spectacular, high up on a ridge above most of the mountains and looking down into valleys below. The “cottage” 😊 is well supplied with everything needed for an enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend this property to any and all who wish a quiet, peaceful getaway.

Gorgeous view

The cabin was beautiful and the scenery from the deck was breathtaking. Our bed was very comfy and the kitchen was supplied with everything we needed. We really liked the recliners. We will definitely be back!

Great place

Place was exactly like it was described. Awesome view. It really couldn't get any better as far as view goes. Place was clean had pretty much all we needed. The only thing is the driveway to get up to the place. HIGHLY recommend 4x4 or at least a vehicle with some clearance because it is stone/dirt with sharp turns and pretty steep in spots. If it's inclimate weather forget about it in a car. Stay on the gas and don't let off if your in a car. And hopefully it's not a nice one. Other then that if you make it up there the place is worth it

Great Family Getaway

Our family had such a relaxing weekend trip. We played so many board games, went hiking, went into town, grilled, made amazing s’more creations at the fire pit and even took naps! The views are incredible!

Beautiful view

This was such a fantastic view. My husband and I felt at home from the moment we arrived and it was difficult to leave. I enjoyed walking around the property in search of rocks and different views. I can’t say enough about how pretty the view is. It went on for miles and looked different from early morning to late evening. The fog would lift and reveal more and more mountainous terrain throughout the day. The owners checked in with us on the day of our arrival, provided a contact free entry & allowed us to fully enjoy the property without any issue. Thank you for such a great stay!

Excellent Mountains view.

Just spent an Amazing 6 Days @ this beautiful cabin with wife & family. Everything was perfect but needs to change master bedroom bed 🛏 matress & needs to clean porch lots of bugs & spider & spiders webs. Nice around the cabin with fantastic mountain views 👌. Nice fire pits & Hot Tub. We enjoyed a lot. Lots of Games and my family & I enjoyed pool Table. Nice selection of decorative pieces @ each & every corner of house. Many thanks to the owner for sharing this beautiful place with us! We will definitly return!

Breathtaking views

Beautiful cabin with plenty of space. We experienced a Fourth of July like no other watching fireworks erupt over the entire mountain landscape. It was simply awesome and probably the best firework display we have seen in years. Awesome.. awesome. Great for our entire family including our dogs. Loved it!

Seclusion and gorgeous views

If you're looking to get away from it all, this house is perfect for that. It's a great property near the top of a mtn with spectacular views. The only drawback is a shaky DSL internet connection, primarily due to the seclusion. The property is gorgeous and the house is fantastic.

Amazing property

Everything you would want for a Mountian cabin rental. House is amazing, clean, well maintained, and at the top of a mountain! Plenty of room, foosball, games, and a MINI pool table. Hot tub was clean and functioned perfectly. The views are exceptional, even the ride to the cabin is exhilarating!! Things to note: 17 minutes to New River Casino 15 minutes to the Wal-Mart Plenty of place to eat and things to do

Beautiful, clean home with gorgeous mountain views

Great layout for multiple couples. Porches are amazing for coffee, birdwatching, sunsets, and cocktails. I suggest that casserole dishes be purchased. The last part of the road directly before the house is steep, but double.

Great VRBO house with the BEST View!

We absolutely loved our time at this house in Murphy! Absolutely beautiful home with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Hot tub and hammock were a big hit with our family as well as the pool and foosball tables. And then there is the view which was spectacular! Sunsets were incredible from the two huge porches. Wifi was a little weak, especially on the basement tv but we just used our own hot spot and were fine. Downtown Murphy had some nice stores with lots of local artists' items for sale. We went to Bistro 29 for dinner and that was good as well. We would definitely go back!

Absolutely beautiful cabin in Murphy, NC

The cabin is amazing! The pictures on-line don’t do it justice. The view is so beautiful! My adult children loved the hot tub & the outdoor fire pit. We will be returning in November for my nieces wedding for 4 days! We can’t wait for an amazing time at such a beautiful cabin in the mountains! It will definitely be a new favorite of our family ❤️

Breathtaking serenity

I can’t brag enough about this property. Weather allowed us to open the windows and doors and just let the cool mountain air roll through the house. I wish the master was a little bigger so it could have a king bed. Other than that, it was perfection for me and my family. Nature sounds abound, beautiful sunrise, no neighbors, no problems! Ready to book our next getaway.
