Great stay in the mountains! Amazing view, very quiet and neat little towns 30 min. In all directions. Indoor and outdoor fires were perfect and the hot tub is the perfect place to end the day

We had a great time during our stay here. The property was very nice and had everything we needed. The views from the deck were amazing and the location was very private. Loved that the jacuzzi was just outside the master bath, so it was easy to hop in and out without freezing since we stayed during the winter.The host was easy to contact and very responsive, promptly answering a few questions we had. They were also flexible with us given we had quite a snowstorm come through, and I really appreciated that. Our dog loved lounging on the deck and by all the windows. I would definitely recommend this spot if you are looking for something that is private, cozy, but not too far from town - the River Walk was great for taking our dog, and we stopped by Buck Bald Brewery on the way back which I would highly recommend for craft beer. The location also is close to hiking which we also took advantage of and visited the waterfall. We are already discussing returning when the weather is warmer to enjoy some of the many summer activities in the area and plan to stay here again!

The cabin was very uncomfortable. The cleaning person was just leaving when we arrived at 5:00. It is very hard to open the lockbox where the key is kept to access the cabin. The kitchen has very little space to prep and cook food. The basement where two people slept was cold with no way to heat or cool it. There was a space heater that didn't work. If the thermostat upstairs was adjusted to warm the basement then it was too hot for the people sleeping upstairs. There were no extra blankets other than a couple of light sofa throws. Each bathroom only had one washcloth. The deadbolt on door in bedroom in basement wouldn't latch. There is no garbage pick-up at the cabin so you have to take trash to a sanitation station. It was only open one time while we were there so we had to transport bags of garbage out when we left. This should have been disclosed where the cabin is advertised. There were more comforts for pets than people and we didn't have any pets. The whole experience was depressing and this property did not work for our family.

My friends and I were blown away with by this cabin. It was clean, well-kept, and very spacious. The property was hidden and tucked away in the woods, which gave an aspect of privacy and seclusion, which was really enjoyed. The cabin also offers an amazing view and plenty of entertainment options and amenities. Also the speakers that are upstairs and connect to the outside balcony were a hidden gem. We will definitely consider coming back!!!

This was the most perfect family getaway! The view was spectacular! The comforts of home were readily available. From the comfortable beds to an abundance of kitchen appliances/supplies to fun family entertainment (tvs, pool table, hot tub). If I could give this 10 stars, I would!!! My only regret is that we didn’t book for longer. The hostess was responsive to questions prior to the trip and provided helpful information in terms of local grocery store, restaurants, hiking trails, etc. We will definitely be returning!!
We booked a bike railway tour in Andrews, NC and it was so much fun!! Highly recommended!!

Very nicely accommodated and great communication with the owners who are very responsive. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook; the cabin is very spacious and clean. The pictures are accurate and did not disappoint. The town of Murphy is very close if you forget something with a nice grocery store (Ingles). Tons of things to do in the area but also the cabin is just a nice place to chill with your loved ones.

We stayed 11 days at this beautiful cabin for our 50th anniversary . We loved everything about our time there. It was very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing.Any questions we had were answered very quickly. We would definitely love to stay here in the future.Viewing the sunsets and hummingbirds on the porch was a highlight of our visit.

Perfect!!!

We would stay here a million more times! It was super clean, super cute and everything you need is there. The back porch is super cute and the view is beautiful. The first time you drive up it’s a little scary, but well worth it! We will definitely be staying there again.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay in the beautiful mountains. It was amazing! The home was perfect for our little getaway and had everything you could possibly want or need. Our host, Melody, was great and she provided us with perfect directions to get up the mountains, etc. We loved the views sitting out on the deck and having the speakers out there was great as we listened to greatest hits of Bob Seger and Fleetwood Mac via Bluetooth. We had squirrels visit us each day and a friendly deer too. The Hummingbirds were happy when I filled a couple of feeders. We loved our time at this property and want to come back someday. I highly recommend you check this property out, you won’t be disappointed. A

A little piece of Heaven

The house was exactly as shown in the pictures - it was perfect and the view from the deck was breathtaking. We did a couple short day trips, but for the most part, were content to just stay and enjoy the relaxation we found at this property.

Quiet cabin with a great view

Overall we had a great time at the cabin. It was my husband and I celebrating our 27th anniversary and we had a peaceful week to ourselves. The place is nice and any issues that we had were quickly resolved by Melody. We did share that the leather couches are in need of replacement due to the worn out cushions and that she relayed that they will be replaced in the next few months. That would be our biggest concern because we spent a lot of time in this area enjoying the awesome few and visiting hummingbirds. Would visit again - great cabin in a remote setting. We even had a bear visit one early morning - very exciting!
