"Terrific location a short walk from Centraal. Friendly hosts- other occupant was quiet, boat secure. Steep stairs to enter-consider if accessibility is an issue. "

Wir standen vor nichts in Zaandam und mussten erst da hin fahren von Expedia aus bis wir Ersatz bekommen haben. Da hatten wir bereits 25,-€ Bahngeld bezahlt, was Expedia nicht interessiert hat. Wir hatten einen Tag vorher gelesen das es an dem Standort nicht existiert und am Anreisetag sofort Expedia kontaktiert. Die Kommunikation hat gut geklappt, nur...

"Where to start??? Gerben (and Rodinde) was the ultimate host, the houseboat was incredible, and the location was exceptional. We didn't know what to expect since the property was brand new to VRBO, so you can imagine our surprise and delight that EVERY detail had been thought through. From heated floors to plenty of kitchenware to a lighted mirror in the bathroom (not to mention the fancy Japanese toilet and sauna!), we felt very pampered. "We stay for three days and the location was perfect, it may seem that is not so close to center, but by bike is really close, only 10min. Bedonboard is a nice and quiet place to stay, and owners are kind and nice people. I would repeat the place for sure!"

"Tolle Woche dort verbracht. Eine Tour nach Amsterdam geht problemlos mit dem Bus mit 1x umsteigen am Flughafen. Der Ausstieg ist quasi direkt am Rijksmuseum. Die Umgebung lässt sich am Besten mit dem ebike erkunden. "

"This is not your run of the mill accommodation. If you’re looking for something different from hotels in a great location, this is it. I think of all the places I’ve rented over the years all over the world, this is in my top 3. The owner Margriet is very friendly and helpful. "We certainly enjoyed our stay at the houseboat. Monnickendam is a cute little town with a nice market, shops and restaurants. Just a 10 minutes walk to the bus stop into Amsterdam - very convenient. On the houseboat you find everything you need. Perfect spot in the evening is on the rooftop. Our host provided us with a very warm welcome. Communication was easy and very pleasant. Getting used to the dry toilet is a little challenge - there are „normal“ toilets in the main building."

"This was an incredible end to our trip. The town is so quaint and adorable with so many friendly people. The houseboat was gorgeous, clean and beautifully decorated. The sauna was perfect since the weather was a little chill but exactly what you’d expect for the end of December. The host was very friendly and helpful. It was an amazing experience!"
