Peaceful Cabin on Munds Canyon with Open Forest from the Decks

  • Enjoy one of the great locations in Munds Park. Tucked into Munds Canyon with outstanding panoramic views from the large wrap-around patio decking. Your neighbor is the forest. A nature-lover’s haven. On a quiet dead-end street with lots of privacy. Hiking right out the back door into the canyon and out to the national forest. Explore the trails on our three mountain bikes. We also have sand horseshoe pits. On our back deck, we have tables, chairs, a gas BBQ, gas fire pit and patio heater. The stars are amazing at night.

    Our cabin is cozy and clean. It is well-equipped with all the usual amenities of home. We provide linens and towels. Just bring your clothes, food and drink. We have high speed internet, access to typical cable and local TV channels via our "YouTube TV" account. We have a washer, dryer and soap for your convenience. Bathrooms on each floor. Wood-burning fireplace stocked for your use. Air conditioned via a five-zone mini-split system that provides heating and cooling for the entire cabin.

    Lake Odell is a short walk away for fishing, kayaking, and hiking. We have easy access to hiking trails, bicycling trails, ATV and snowmobile trails.

    Our cabin serves as a convenient base for exploring northern Arizona. World famous Sedona is an easy 45 minute scenic drive. Flagstaff is 20 minutes north with its eclectic charm, restaurants and golf courses. Snow Skiing at the Arizona Snowbowl is 45 minutes away. The Snowbowl is also a nice place to visit in the summer for dining, picnicking, hiking and biking. The Grand Canyon is about 90 minutes away. Other points of interest include Oak Creek Canyon, Slide Rock, Meteor Crater, Walnut Canyon Indian Ruins, Flagstaff Extreme Adventure Course, famous Route 66, etc. They are all relatively short drives from our cabin.

    Our minimum stay is 3 nights.
    Maximum stay is two weeks.

    Security Cameras- We have four security cameras on the outside of the house primarily to provide security when the cabin is vacant.

Quiet cozy private cabin

Tim's cabin was quiet, cozy and private. My husband, dog and I enjoyed our stay! Tim was very kind and a great communicator! We would stay here again!

Amazing Snow Weekend

My friends and I picked this cabin for a fun getaway weekend, and ended up snowed in for 2 days because of the weather, but it was the most perfect cozy escape ever. I LOVED it.

Relaxing and cozy spot with everything you need!

We had the BEST time staying here! The location is absolutely perfect with the river bed behind for nice long hikes to explore with the kids. The kitchen was stocked with spices and cooking supplies and we had everything we needed! The owners were easy to communicate with and there anytime we had a question. Would absolutely stay here again and again!

Northern Arizona Adventure

Solitude within easy driving distance of major destinations—Grand Canyon, Sedona, National Forests, Parks, and Monuments. House seems to have everything you could want regardless of the season. Host was great about communicating before our arrival and prior to our departure.

Beautiful views

We loved the property, it is as described. Had everything we needed in the kitchen etc. Beds were super comfy as well. Can hike right from property and location is quiet and perfect for getting to Flagstaff (20 min drive). We will be back in the winter! Thanks so much!

A Touch of Serenity

Wonderful, peaceful and serene cabin. The bedding was out of this world. Nicely stocked with the essentials. The deck was amazing and we had a creek below with soothing sounds. The host, Tim, was very atttentative to our needs

Weekend Haven

We had a fantastic experience with the weekend rental! The place was immaculately clean and felt incredibly safe, which immediately made me feel at ease. It was stocked with everything I could possibly need, from toiletries to kitchen essentials, which really made the stay effortless. The beds were super comfortable, and I slept well. Tim is also very responsive and helpful, always quick to answer any questions I had. Overall, it was a smooth, enjoyable stay, and I would definitely return!

rented this cabin to be close to Grand Canyon

This property has such beautiful views and the decks you can enjoy the sound of the water below. There was still snow on the ground so the kids were able to use the snow toys and had a blast. The cabin was clean and we enjoyed our stay. We would stay here again for sure. Our property Mng. Tim was available and very helpful.

This house by far one of the most cleanest and comfortable I’ve ever stayed!!

My family and friends spent new years in this house and let me tell you!! We had an amazing time , we didn’t do much outdoors because the weather didn’t help so we spent alot of time inside! This house has everything!! Very clean, comfortable beds, a very well equipped kitchen with everything we needed it to cook our meals , amazing views.. close to gas station and a cute little bar called el borracho we had great time there, we we’re all adults, total of 8 and the house had plenty of space for all of us, This house is very very cozy in the winter , nice chimney with lots of wood to use Easy to check in and out And let me tell you ! Tim is amazing, very quick to respond to any question or concerns , I will stay here again for sure , making plans for the summer, there’s lots to do outdoors Thank you Tim for your hospitality!!

Very clean and quiet

The cabin was very clean. Loved the patio. Enjoyed the horseshoe game. They have nice bike for use. We didn’t , the home is on a steep hillside and It was more work to get the bike up the driveway. Neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. Loved the cabin.

Relaxing Getaway

We have stayed at Tim's cabin several times and we have never been disappointed. Tim is very efficient and timely with concerns or questions. The cabin is in a great location and the sensation of seclusion is a nice weekend getaway. The cabin is clean, beds are comfy and supplies are more than adequate. Cabin had literally everything you could need even for a family of 6. It was clean, and the surrounding property was beautiful. We had so much fun sledding down the driveway! Owner was attentive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Overland Expo West

First let me thank Tim for the excellent communication. It made me feel welcome and appreciated that we selected this home to stay at. The place was clean as a whistle including the decks and outside areas, which I know have to collect pine needles and oak leaves pretty quickly (not a leaf to be found). It is a very cozy cabin and makes you feel quite snug. The front layout is a bit tight, but overall plenty of room to separate into the three bedrooms or outside decks if need be. The area was beautiful, but a bit of a drive if you want to be in Flag. hence the 4 stars on location. Close enough though. There were conveniences nearby, such as a few good restaurants, saloons/pubs, and gas stations. We came to Overland Expo and stayed here instead of camping it because I wanted room in the truck to take back all the goodies we bought at the expo. This is a pet friendly place and Lucy enjoyed running in the trees in the back yard. A courtesy notice to Tim when you are bringing your pet goes a long way. There were dog bowls and a couple cans of dog food in the cupboard, which was a kind touch, along with doggie bags by the door. Yay! Overall we would love to stay here again and recommend folks consider this as a great place to kick up your feet.
