"Fantastic spacious cottage in a great location. Just a short walk to Campbeltown or Davaar Island. Great location from where to explore the islands. A short drive to Machrihanish beach, Southend and the Mull of Kintyre (with views to Ireland). We loved it and can only recommend."

"The cottage is cosy, clean and very inviting. Shiskine is a wonderful place to stay, quiet and very appealing. It's very close to Blackwaterfoot, which is beautiful. The Kinloch Hotel does marvellous meals (takeaways too). What really makes the stay worthwhile is the landlady, Jan. Last year, when we couldn't get off the island due to ferry problems, Jan put us up for an extra with no charge. "We had a lovely time in the property, the house was great and the welcome basket was a perfect touch! Part of the reason we chose to come was for its proximity to the two Machrihanish courses but we didn't quite realise how great the beaches are as well! If we ever come back to the area, we would definitely look to stay hear again."

"The cottage was so lovely, had everything you could need. The location was perfect for getting to everything on the Island. The beach was only afew miles down the road was beautiful and quiet! Perfect for Paddleboarding."

"We had a marvellous time staying at Kennacraig with our two young girls and grandparents. The weather was amazing, sunshine everyday for 6 days. We were very impressed with everything provided in the Lodge and the views and outdoor space were fantastic. We went to a local wedding and wanted to make a holiday out of the trip, it all worked out perfectly. We contacted the manager once and they responded promptly. "

"No contact from Homeaway regarding getting keys etc. Hours spent on the phone to various "customer service". Found out myself that it was managed by cottages. com. Logged in to their website to find all the information there. Probably spent too much money by booking through Homeaway rather than direct with Cottages. Com. Views were stunning, great location. Lovely gifts upon arrival (best banana cake ever) fresh flowers a lovely touch. Very clean. Missing a couple of things like a bbq and heat...
