"Beautiful house I look forward to booking again "

"Brought my wife for her birthday and our 6th month weddings anniversary here for a weekend away. So happy we were able to bring our senior pup with us. Place was so spacious and quiet even with being close to a road. Set up was nice and cozy, with the fire pit with hammock, a grill on a nice sized deck, and the hot tube was a great set up. We nejoyed to see the wildlife walking around too. My wife really enjoyed herself and so did our pup."

"Property owner thinks they can keep all of your money even though a natural disaster happened during the time you were supposed to be there. So, basically, if the weather could kill you, you either take the chance of dying or have your money taken from you for absolutely nothing. Also, VRBO/Expedia states that there are exceptions for extenuating circumstances such as natural disasters. "It's a nice house,pretty clean and quiet. The parking regulations are crazy and the driveway is at such a steep angle it's dangerous. We didn't appreciate the repeated threats of fines or the lack of help from the owner who thinks there are marked spaces when there isn't a painted line on the entire block. We could find no way to make the house warm and comfortable. Some of the thermostats seem to be in Celsius and the one in the first floor bath/laundry didn't work at all. Pots and pans were...

"Home was well equipped with everything we needed for our family vacation. Fabulous location, near everything (food shopping, drugstores, Walmart, wine/beer/liquor stores) PLUS the LAKE and the BEACH directly across the road. Would definitely rent Chalet Hummingbird again. "

"The house was fully equipped and well maintained. The host was very responsive and accommodating, allowing us an earlier check-in. It rained throughout our stay and so never had the opportunity to use the grill or the fire pit but the indoor fireplace was a nice touch."
