"Okay the property is very expensive for the price that I paid. So definitely no go and will not suggest this to anyone. Additionally, the host is very polite on the face of it, but is really unfair when it comes to the problem solving. Like literally, the bathroom knob was broken and the host is like IDC if someone come into the bathroom while you poop."

"This property was easy to find, spacious, and comfortable. It offers easy access to several local restaurants, grocery stores, and fuel. It is about 30 minutes drive from VA Beach or Norfolk. Our host, Eric, was responsive and helpful. The beds were comfortable for all 5 of us, and we loved having coffee on the screened in porch. "They didn't tell me they had somebody living on site until I was on my way there, between midnight and 2:30 a.m., because I told them I would be late, getting there.There was somebody else there when I got there in the room that I was supposed to be in, plus the person that lives on site.The key was where it was supposed to be, but the outside door was locked, and I rang the doorbell several times, and contacted the host, by calling and sending messages, and I still had to wait about 20 minutes...

"This was the perfect place for us! We did a lot of fishing and crabbing from the dock. OBX beaches are less than a mile away. The host is very responsive. Great neighbor kitty who loved to visit with us. (And his mom was very nice and chatty too!)"

"We had some trouble getting in as the code for the lower door was listed as one thing and then after awhile we were told the correct code. The house is nice and pretty inside. The problem was that we didn’t have hot water the first night and Saturday morning. The repair came in the morning and said that it had been turned off due to cold weather weeks before our visit. "The views from the magnificent main living area are truly incredible, and the home has an excellent layout with so much indoor and outdoor living space. The backyard and pool area are so peaceful, and walking to the beach was a breeze! The owner was lovely and very responsive. Thanks for an absolutely wonderful stay!"

"House was not clean, there were ants everywhere in the kitchen, cob webs in the corners of the bedrooms, mold markings around the vents, a dryer that takes forever to dry a load of towels, a vacuum that doesn’t work, and dirty hot tub water. The house itself is fine, the views are beautiful and very peaceful (especially at sunset)."
