"The view from the cottage and deck were beautiful. The cottage has full kitchen and grill on deck. Everything you need to unwind without roughing it. The cottage is near a 4 wheeler trail, so Saturday was pretty loud. I had 3 days of great weather and spent my time reading and sewing. Fall was at its best. I loved Red Travern road for fall colors. I would definitely come back. I just might stay week days when there are less 4 wheelers. "

"Loved the house, the area and the lake. House is as described, lake is lovely, tons of things to do just at the house and almost hard to leave and explore the area! Our families threw a dart at the map this year for our vacation and we ended up with one of the best trips we’ve had in a long time. Indian and Mountain View Lakes are hidden gems in the Adirondacks and the house is full of history and tradition. Thanks to the owners for sharing this house! "

"We had a wonderful experience at Susan and Greg’s cabin on Upper Chateaugay Lake. The sunsets were as good as advertised, and the mountain and lake themed decor was absolutely conducive to a soothing, rustic experience. "When they describe this as a magical treehouse, they are not overselling! This place is amazing. From the first few steps inside, we were hooked. You definitely need to be a little careful on the stairs, but there is a sturdy hand rail to help! The kitchen/private dining screen room was awesome with everything you need to prepare a great camp meal. The trails and grounds were lovely. Overall could not have asked for a better stay! "
