Nice room, parking, store now closed, good access to remote area, shower needs attention, overall this stay was excellent.

No frills very clean small nice room. A big bathtub I could fit in to soak my aching muscles and a cozy bed where I was asleep in 2 minutes. Very quiet and beautiful.

Glad you were able to come and enjoy the lodge even though we were on vacation For future reference, breakfast services will be discontinued after Labor Day, but the breakfast nook will be available for use by guests for preparing meals.

Sorry about all the feral cats. They are so embarrassing. Only one of them is ours and she isn't doing her job of keeping the others away. Unfortunately when we "get rid of them" new strays replace them. As far as the TV, you are the first person to mention it, surprisingly! I have wanted to replace TV's since we first bought the Inn three years ago, but because it never seemed to be a concern to our guests we have addressed other concerns first. A new bed was the next upgrade we were planning for Room 3. I will add the TV to my list now. Thank you for staying and for your honest feedback, Jason.

Giving us a poor review when the didn't actually stay and the only problem was location reflects poorly on our business and isn't a fair indication of the service we provide. Please change or delete your review at your earliest convenience and contact Expedia directly about the location concern.

Owners are amazingly friendly and helpful. She walked us to the room to make sure everything was in order. She offered us sbacks and fruit. We became friends. If you want to hike up near Moon lake, but don't want to camp out, or the weather is bad thus is a great alternative.

Mountain home stay
We only stayed one night. The family was very friendly. The home made breakfast was incredible.

secret, out of the way, gem
This is rural, very small town America. There are no glitzy hotels, noisy casinos, hottie sports bars, or fast food joints here. Those are 30-40 miles away. BUT..... If you are looking for a haven to return to each night that is very close to some of the best hiking, fishing, and hunting in the Unita Mountains of Utah. Or if you want a quiet get away vacation. This is it. These are the nicest folks. The rooms are spacious and clean. A well stocked mini store is across the hall. And you get a home cooked breakfast in the morning! They even have gas pumps. (the next available is 30 miles away) And yes, they do have indoor plumbing, hot and cold running water! (lol) They also have coffee maker, microwave, cable TV, free internet, gazebo, fenced in play area, and a campfire pit. If you don't have an RV but still enjoy the peace and quiet of the out-of-doors, this is a great place.

Quaint, cute and comfortable
Such a sweet family that own and operate the store and Inn. The room was spacious and included a sitting area and little porch. It isn't modern at all but the bed was good and the owners wife made us breakfast. Best sausage and biscuits we have ever had! Very enjoyable stay.

Off The Beaten Path
This was an excellent find. My husband had a conference in Salt Lake, we live in Colorado, I was looking for something quaint, off the main path. This was an excellent find. Family owned and family friendly.
