"Owners very kind and accommodating, the animals are fun but our dog was a bit scared of Walter, the turkey, so Monica was sweet enough to get him from the porch a few times. Plenty of fire pits for nighttime relaxing and very close to hiking, restaurants in Huntington and activities at Rays town lake! "

"This was the second time we stayed at Herons Cove and it was another great experience. The house is so nice inside but the outside setup is even better. The fire pit, outside deck and patio, and sport court were fun places to hang out with friends. Chris is a great host and made sure everything was right for our stay. We will be back again. "

Our host Heather anticipated anything that I could have wanted: a thoroughly equipped kitchen (even had a milkshake blender), a water cooler, games, dvds, flashlights, binoculars, marshmallow skewers...The firepit was fabulous, large, covered, and optional lighting. Then there was the screened in porch with the rocking chairs... oh, and then there was the swing!And the best thing, no signal! A weekend freed from...

"We stayed for 3 nights. Secluded cabin on the side of a hill up a gravel road from the main road. You could see neighbors, but they were not close. This made it very peaceful to sleep and sit on the great front porch. Although it felt remote, we were less than 10 minutes away from the main entrance to Lake Raystown and 20 or 30 minutes from the Allegrippis mountain biking trails. The cabin itself was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for my family of four and would have fit more...
