Special Cabin

We very much enjoyed our stay at this unique cabin. The cabin was so clean and inviting! We enjoyed the vinyl records, the DVD collection, and classic video game system and the coffee and hot cocoa station! It was perfect for our family of 5 and our dog. We would definitely recommend this property!

Family Graduation Celebration

We gathered grandparents, parents, friends, and a graduate to spend quality time together and be close to Bridgewater College. We were only 20 minutes from great food in Staunton and 20 minutes from campus.

Quiet, peaceful stay!

Awesome Cabin!

This was our second stay at this cabin and we love it! The cabin and grounds are beautiful. Well stocked and lots of extra touches made our stay so enjoyable! We loved having a fire out back, which is so secluded. Thanks Rebecca!

Worth Every Penny

I wanted to get away from the business of Northern Virginia for a few days to clear my mind and simply relax. The cabin stay was exactly what I needed. Not only was Rebecca communicative, the cabin was spacious, rustic, and luxurious. I cannot be more enthusiastic in recommending this property to anyone who wants some time away but doesn’t want to have to “rough it.” I plan on returning this fall with my parents for a few days.

Perfect Getaway

This was the perfect stay for what we needed (and more). I packed a ton of books and toys for our kids, but they didn't touch a single one. The house had a bin of toys, a bunch of games (we played candyland), stuffed animals in every room, and even a workout room we did a fun family workout in! The weather was just cold enough that we decided against s'mores, but we hung out by the water and promised the kids we'll be back when it's warmer.We also brought our dog, who we may not bring next time. While the house is definitely pet-friendly (she LOVED sitting on the porch and playing with the dog toys that were set up for her), she really struggled with the stairs. You can see through them, so from the middle of the first to second floors, you can see all the way down to the basement below you. She wasn't thrilled. Aside from this, everything was perfect. We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing and better stay, and we look forward to coming back when it's warm enough to enjoy the outdoor space!

This home was off the beaten path but not far from the interstate. It was unique with the streams out back and an area to roam around. Pet friendly was a plus. The book with every question answered was wonderfully thought out!

Cozy cabin

The cabin was family friendly and had lots of extra comfort items. The stove was perfect for a winter evening! The children loved the streams and foot bridges. Beds were comfy. Nice quiet neighborhood.

Fantastic rustic historical cabin

I can’t say enough good things about this property. I wish I had had more than one night to stay! I’m from Va but now live in the Pac NW and this was a great coming home to my roots feel. I loved the plethora of wild birds I woke up to, and the giant (cherry?) tree out back. Would definitely stay again!
