Absolutely wonderful visit!!!

We had a wonderful visit! The small lake was gorgeous, the beds were comfortable, house was clean. We used the fire pit daily, found loads of little frogs by the water, enjoyed peace and tranquility. Was a great stay, highly recommend!!!!

Nice place to stay

We loved our stay in this quiet little home. Its large windows help you feel like you are in the pines next to the lake without leaving the comfort of the inside. We came in December and we didn't play outside much but it looks heavenly! Fire pit and access to the little lake is right there. This listing says it can stay 7 people however I think 4 is more reasonable. There is a blow up mattress that you can air up in the master and a hide a bed in the ottoman (but it was very dusty and unclean). My boys slept two on the queen and 3 on the floor. Also the heating is a little weird you need to keep all the room doors open if you don't like it cold while you sleep. The kitchen was well stocked with tools (it took us a bit to find the fridge as it's in the drawers). We enjoyed soaking in the tub and having the laundry/dryer was a lifesaver after camping. Overall we really enjoyed this home.

Exquisite get-away

Lovely cottage with all amenities, with a beautiful view of (now dry in November) lake, which looks like a golden meadow. Wonderful kitchen, comfy beds, peaceful location with no observable neighbors and sense of quiet and solitude, but only a few minutes to Mt. Shasta. Perfect for 4 adults.

Great Place

Really nice house at the lake (reservoir) surrounded by woods. Very peaceful and quiet. The lake was dry in October, but the owners were upfront about it. The view from the bedroom in the morning is beautiful even without the water.

Would go again

The remotely located stone cottage is private and quiet with lots of wildlife and hiking trails. The interior is luxuriously furnished with every amenity including comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the view from the deck even though the lake is mostly dry this time of year.

Beautifully crafted cottage

We loved the idyllic beauty of the property and its surrounds. And we loved how thoughtfully constructed the cottage —how in its tasteful shades and intricate stonework and crafted fir cabinets and granite surfaces— it mirrored the beauty of the natural world. Wonderful!

Wonderful oasis

Cute cabin tucked amongst the trees with loads of outdoor space. Well appointed, comfy beds and spacious enough for our party of four. We enjoyed the canoe and trails during the day, and games, cooking and the Olympics in the evening.

Lake house

We really enjoyed this retreat. It was exceptionally clean & very well thought out and private. Sitting out on the deck over looking the seasonal lake, while listening to the songs of the waterfowl & Steelers Jays… And watching the ducks and geese with those little fluff ball babies waddle up to the grass area of the yard was a real treat.. We never once clicked on the TV as the view has everything we needed. Very comfortable & peaceful indeed.

Beautiful cabin on the lake

We had an amazing time on the lake. Was perfect for a nice and quiet getaway. The property is beautiful and we spent a lot of time on the water in the canoe. Getting to town is a 15mm drive so make sure you pick up items you need before you stay at the house. Cell service was excellent for T mobile. Thank you!

As always, beautiful tranquility

This must be our 4th or 5th time renting this property and we just love it. Took a trip to Burney Falls this time which was amazing. Saw rain, snow, fog, and finally sunshine and did not disappoint in any weather.
