Beautiful perfectly located place to stay

Great location for Charleston events plus Mount Pleasant. Very comfortable beds and lots of little extras made you feel so welcome. Air conditioning worked well - as it was so hot! Well appointed kitchen. Enjoyed it tremendously.

Beautiful property in quiet neighborhood

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Close to beaches, downtown Charleston and Shem Creek. The home is beautiful and the outdoor space is lovely. There is so much see and do in this area that the only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! . Highly recommend the property and its location .

Great location and amenities!

My mom and I stayed here for 4 nights in May 2025. Great location close to so many things. 10 minutes to historic Charleston, less than that to Mount Pleasant, Sullivan Island and USS Yorktown. Very clean, nice fenced back patio, immaculate bathrooms. Please note that this is a townhouse with bedrooms upstairs, I somehow missed that in the pictures. My mom is 82, so I carried her luggage upstairs. Very convenient parking just for this unit. I would stay here again! Owner was very responsive to my questions when I had them.

Excellent stay during Charleston visit

Everything was at least as good as advertised. John was responsive from the start. He promptly answered several questions before we booked, checked in with us proactively after we arrived, and then responded promptly to questions during our stay. The location was perfect, as promised, in a quiet neighborhood in Mount Pleasant, right between the city of Charleston and the beaches of Sullivan's Island and Island of Palms. All were short Uber rides away - not critical to rent a car. And Shem's Creek was a 20-minute walk - a beautiful boardwalk, several restaurants, and dolphins in the harbor.The home was comfortable (great beds) and well-equipped. I especially liked the outdoor space. Nothing negative to say. We'd stay there again. John is an excellent host.

Great place

Wonderful place to stay! We stayed a week with our 2 kids ( 3 years and 1 year old). Quiet and nice neighborhood. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the small backyard with the grill. Grocery stores are very close and it was an easy drive (15 min) to downtown Charleston and Sullivan’s island. Host is very responsive

Amazing Low Country Retreat

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The pictures on this home do not do it justice…the town house was beautifully decorated and cozy, everything was perfect and John, the property manager was more than accommodating. He made sure to check in with us shortly after our arrival and gave us some great recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing opportunities. It was so nice to have a fenced in yard for our children to play while my husband and I could relax in the backyard. Even the neighbors were so kind and helpful. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, even coffee. The master shower had great pressure and double heads which we were pleasantly surprised by. It’s only a 10 minute drive from downtown Charleston and a 5 minute drive to the Ravenel Bridge which I totally recommend you walk or run while you are here. Plenty of grocery stores near by too. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the Charleston area.

Great experience all-around

Our second stay in this apartment. One of the best-equipped properties we've rented (linens, kitchen, bathrooms). Soft but comfortable beds. Excellent layout on first floor. Very accessible and responsive host. Property as advertised, but we didn't use patio fireplace or grill because of weather.

This property was AMAZING!! It was clean and very up to date. The only issue I have to talk about is it is a 2.5 bath not a 3 bath as per the description. But that actually worked out better since the 1/2 bath was downstairs and the other two bathrooms are upstairs. If you are ever in the Charleston/Mt. Pleasant area this is a great place to rent. The owner, John, is very responsive and answered right away with all my questions.

Beautiful HQ

Lowcountry Retreat is a gorgeous, tastefully decorated and well-appointed townhouse that we ( almost) didn’t want to leave to tour the Charleston area. Very well situated, it’s just a short drive to Sullivan’s Island, the heart of Charleston, etc. Great kitchen and dining area! Excellent livingroom and comfortable bedrooms. Plus, the great outdoor fireplace and cushy seating on the patio. Highly recommend this spot if you’re visiting the area.
